A woman alone and they were not easy to deal with. The manager came in and tried to bully me and then when I asked questions he didn’t have an answer for agreed and then flipped off the salesman off. The manager came in and tried to bully me and then when I asked questions he didn’t have an answer for agreed and then flipped off the salesman off. Very unprofessional. I Spent 5 hours trying to get through the process, it was an absolute fight for everything. No integrity-when I finally got through the process and walked out with the salesman after it had rained and there was water in the taillight. They said we will talk about this Tuesday, then conveniently forgot and wouldn’t stand behind it. They get a 2 only because their service guy Tyler had some integrity and as I live alone and didn’t have anyone to come get me they did send a shuttle to come get me. This was not a good experience. I like the vehicle, not the dealership. I will absolutely not recommend to anyone and unfortunately my daughter in law bought her car there but I will definitely encourage her to look other places for the future. There are other places that have their customers in mind and want repeat business and better word of mouth. This is NOT that place. More
I bought a car here with a bad engine and only drove it 700 miles before it stopped working. I tried to contact Granite but was just sent to voicemails. I couldn't go there in person because I couldn't dri 700 miles before it stopped working. I tried to contact Granite but was just sent to voicemails. I couldn't go there in person because I couldn't drive the car I just bought from them. I posted on FB "Thanks for the lemon" and immediately received messages from the salesman asking what was wrong. I said I wasn't sure at that time and asked if they would look at it since I just bought it. At first they said no but then the manager said if I towed it there, they would look at it. I towed the car over there at my cost then next day I received a call asking me to remove the post from FB. I said I would rather wait since I couldn't get them to talk to me until I made the post. I then received another call from that same manager telling me the owner doesn't want my business, I need to get my car and they will send their lawyers after me if I post anything else online. I had the car towed to a mechanic who stated there was no way they didn't know the engine was bad if they had looked at it. They had kept the car for 3 days after I signed the paperwork to buy it to "check it over". The car was 3 quarts low on oil, no light came on to tell me that and I didn't check because Granite said they changed the oil. I told them I needed a reliable car to take my son who has disabilities to his appointments and this is what they sold me. I now have to rely on friends and family to borrow vehicles so my son can get to his appointments. I can't afford another car because I have to make payments and pay insurance on a car that doesn't run. I hope no special needs family ever tries to rely on this business to be honest with them because Granite only wants your money. More
Granite Nissan — Misleading, Dishonest, and Financially Harmful Experience I am writing this review to warn others after an incredibly misleading and financially damaging experience at Granite Nissan. I Harmful Experience I am writing this review to warn others after an incredibly misleading and financially damaging experience at Granite Nissan. I purchased a car from them and realized within hours that I had been misled. I went in for a vehicle with good gas mileage, but the salesperson talked me into a floor model and refused to let me test drive the exact car I was buying. Instead, he had me drive a “similar” model, demonstrating features like co-pilot assist and 3D camera views. Based on that test drive, I agreed to purchase. The car I received was nothing like what I was shown. It rode stiff, was uncomfortable, and lacked the features they demonstrated. I called the dealership immediately after putting only 90 miles on it, and what followed was weeks of excuses, delays, and broken promises. I was told repeatedly that a manager would contact me—no one did. When I finally went in person, I was told the “first step” to making things right was to register the car. Trusting them, I followed their instructions. Once I registered it, their “solution” was to offer me $26,000 for a car they had just financed at $43,000—a $17,000 loss on a vehicle I had owned for only days. To make matters worse: • I asked to leave the car with them so it wouldn’t gain miles while we waited for a resolution—they refused. • They took over two weeks to send registration paperwork, forcing me to continue driving it for work. The mileage increased only because they wouldn’t take the car back. • Nissan Corporate later told me the deal could have been unwound under 100 miles—exactly where I was when I first tried returning it. On November 13th, after they told me my car was “only worth $26,000,” I received a call saying the deal couldn’t be unwound because there were now “too many miles”—miles they caused by refusing to take the car back. I was promised a follow-up call the next day (November 14th). It is now November 15th, and, just like every other promise they’ve made, no one called. This dealership sold me one car, delivered another, and then tried to force me into a massive financial loss for their mistake. I have never felt so deceived as a consumer. Stay far away. Their word cannot be trusted. More
I purchased a Titan pickup from them and also the warranty insurance and when I went into see them Tyler the service kid said he would contact them to get the ok to replace the front struts. He state warranty insurance and when I went into see them Tyler the service kid said he would contact them to get the ok to replace the front struts. He stated he would call me back when he got authorization. It was a few days and then he called me to say they approved it so we set up the appointment to have them replaced! I took my P/U in and then sat in the waiting room for hours and started looking through the bay window into the service area and my P/U was on a lift, but no one was working on it! He then came out and said my truck was done! I found out as I drove awaythey hadn’t done anything to it! I called the warranty company and they states he had never called them for replacement authorization and lied to me he did! They said they would have authorized the parts and work, but were never contacted. If you purchase a vehicle from them drive to Denver to have work done because they’ll lie to you about doing the work here! More
I happened upon Granite Nissan’s website while searching for a new vehicle, that is apparently in high demand. I live in Kansas City and my local Nissan dealership has been less that helpful, despite workin for a new vehicle, that is apparently in high demand. I live in Kansas City and my local Nissan dealership has been less that helpful, despite working with them for over a month. So anyways, I’m on Granite Nissan’s website and it shows they have or will soon have the vehicle I’m looking for. I called the Sales Department on a Saturday morning and Brett answered the phone. To my disappointment, the vehicle I was interested in was on its way, but was actually an ordered vehicle for someone else. Brett was very kind and took it upon himself to find a vehicle, matching what I was looking for. Brett did find vehicles matching what I was looking for, but the only available ones were over a thousand miles away and just wouldn’t make financial sense to transport them all that distance. He did have local inventory that was really close to what I was looking for and was able to put together a VERY reasonable deal that included a great price on my trade-in AND delivering the vehicle to me in Kansas City. I ended up finding a local deal on a different vehicle that I couldn’t pass up. I ended up spending more than I wanted, but… you know…. All that to say that Granite Nissan was very easy to deal with. No pressure and very transparent in all of their pricing and financing options. If you’re in the Rapid City area, or even outside the Rapid City area, I would definitely give them a call. I know I will. More
