I've used Granite Subaru in the past for parts and service and the experiences were always fantastic however this was the first time I have gone through their Sales team and purchased a vehicle from the dealership itself. Upon arriving I was greeted immediately as I walked in by Bryan and told him the vehicle I was interested in and possibly another, he quickly ran down the differences and pros and cons between the two and quickly arranged a test drive which ultimately helped me make a decision. Once the whole process started it went very smoothly from start to finish, I think I spent less than an hour in the dealership itself not including the test drive which made me feel like my time was valuable to the Granite Subaru team. After agreeing on a price I wrapped up with Michael in the finance office and out of the experiences in dealerships I have had in the past this was easily the most enjoyable, both Bryan and Michael gave me a concise rundown on all the paperwork and that made me feel at ease that it wasn't rushed, but just right. And a shout out to Charlie for really adding the cherry on top, I appreciate the tasteful mods and you for being freaking awesome. A little surprised that there was not a walk-through of the vehicle before the keys were handed over for the test drive. However, salesman Carlos Perez was personable and easygoing without getting in your face at all. He knew when to hang back and let us talk. Really it was the trade discussion and financing convo with sales management team that took off one star. I had to get a little more aggressive on the trade. I could have used a little more wooing with the service deals that I ended up declining. Throw something in for the customer. I bought a $32,000 car from you and you did not get a piece of junk in trade no matter what your version of KBB tells you. I could have gone to two other dealerships that also reached out and wanted my business. But hey, it's a car sale! I don't have extraordinarily high expectations. :) More
