Got a good car, with the typical new car dealer experience. I was looking at dealer inventory for several dealers online and saw what appeared to be a good deal on a specific car at Granite Subaru. I called before going in to make an appointment and to confirm that the car was available. I was told that "as far as I can see" that car is available. When I arrived and asked to see that car, I was told that it had been sold the previous day. But they had others. Instead of the lowest priced car in my preferred trim level, I was shown the highest priced car in that trim level. I felt like I was the victim of the classic "bait and switch" technique. However, I liked the car and agreed to pay the higher price for the additional options. On reviewing the dealership's offer, I was told that this car had included in its price a required additional fee of $199 for "Security Coding" markings on the body panels as a theft deterrent. This add on was not listed on the vehicle's sticker or previously disclosed. I was made to understand that this charge was not optional. When I attempted to decline this dealer installed option, I was told I could decline the theft warranty program associated with the security coding but that the price of the car would then be increased by $199, saving me no money. Also, although I expected to pay a "doc fee", the doc fee here was $499, higher than I had seen at other dealerships. They also charge a $95 fee for the registry of motor vehicles runner to pick up the plates at the Mass RMV. Other dealerships do this at no charge. In spite of these criticisms, and a bad stress headache on leaving the dealership after making the deal, I did agree to buy a car from them and I am happy with the car on day two of ownership. More

It was exactly 45 minutes later that my car was ready. The service department employees are super friendly, cordial and polite. I have used this dealership and service center for over 10 years and have never been disappointed! I purchased.a 2008 Subaru Forester in December 2007 and after 10 years and 283K miles, I purchased a 2017 Subaru Cross Trek from this dealership. Will not trust anyone else with my Subaru! Then I moved to Pelham NH and bought my Subaru in Hudson MA - I When I lived in Wilmington MA, I took my Subaru to Wakefield. Loved that dealership. The level of service was outstanding My wife arrived the morning at the dealership without appointment but a "frightening" sound was coming out of underneath the car. The service adviser My wife arrived the morning at the dealership without appointment but a "frightening" sound was coming out of underneath the car. The service adviser took the car and diagnose a heat shield issue with the exhaust and told her it will take about 2 hours. My wife was looking for a taxi to get back home when the service adviser told her he will take her back home. 2 hours later we got a call the car was ready, and after picking it up it was silent as it should be.... They went overboard to the level of service knowing that it wasn't any service slot available for the next 8 days. Thank you More

Management and other employees were not helpful When he needed assistance they left him out of the loop and therefore left us confused on what was going on. I was given a remote car starter by management but the lack of communication from management to salesman left me brining my car back on my own time to get it installed instead of having it ready when I picked it up. I also got my car with a quarter of a tank and had to drive an employee to go fill it up. The salesman was a pleasure to work with it’s unfortunate that management here isn’t willing to train new employees for whatever reason. More
