I scheduled my appointment for 7:00am, and dropped off my Ascent the prior afternoon. The next morning, at 10:00 am, I called to check on my Ascent and discovered that there was an issue with my cell numbe Ascent the prior afternoon. I am very disappointed with the issue involving the replacement of parts that were supposedly installed by Granite in Feb'20. I brought my vehicle in on Thursday November 5th because of faulty parts replacement of parts that were supposedly installed by Granite in Feb'20. I brought my vehicle in on Thursday November 5th because of faulty parts (axles) that were supposedly installed by Granite after it was serviced by another shop, Rk Auto, in February. RK auto had installed a pair of axles which caused an increase in vibration from the initial complaint. I then brought my Outback to Granite to correct the problem. Last week, on Nov. 4, I took my Outback to Sullivan tires to be inspected. Upon inspection it was determined the boot of the axle was damaged and needed to be replaced. The tech at Sullivan advised I take it back to Granite Subaru because parts and labor are still under warranty. While I was waiting at Granite subaru for my vehicle to be looked at, the technician that took my information confirmed that the boot was damaged and then stated,"IT DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE THE WORK WAS DONE BY US. BUT YES WE WILL REPLACE IT." I didn't make my much of his remark because the axles were going to be replaced and I was going to be given a rental. Later that evening, I thought about his statement, which led me to believe that he clearly admitted to the work and Parts I PAID FOR in February were never actually installed. It also shows on my service record that the ball joint was replaced in February which could have actually been the reason I initially felt vibration while driving, not because of the replaces axles by Rk Auto. I brought up my concerns to the service techs and the manager. They were not able to prove the work was done in February. I asked why the technician initially made that statement and he couldn't clarify. I asked for OEM serial or part numbers to prove replacements were installed by Subaru, which they could not provide. They attempted to reassure me that work was done, "THAT'S NOT SOMETHING WE WOULD DO." I am convinced the axles from RK Auto were never replaced in February, yet I was charged for replacements and Labor by Granite Subaru. Due this inconvenience, I would simple like a reimbursement for the Labor charges for the work that WAS NOT done in February. More
