Thank you for taking the time write your review. I'm truly sorry that you are disappointed with your service experience. I reviewed your service history and spoke with the service advisor who you worked with as well as our shop foreman. I believe there was some miscommunication along the way that I can help to clear up. This past February you brought your vehicle in to have us perform a recall and diagnose why your car was vibrating when you accelerated. The vibration started after an independant repair shop installed aftermarket front axles. We diagnosed the vibration as being caused by the aftermarket axles that were installed. We also replaced the passenger front lower ball joint with your permission. You had us install factory Subaru axles to alleviate the vibration concern. The part numbers for the axles we used are on the invoice that was given to you. You recently went in for a state inspection and failed because the inner axle boots were leaking grease. You did the right thing bringing the vehicle back to us so we could inspect the axles. We inspected and verified both front inner boots were torn. Since both front axles were still covered under the warranty from February, we replaced both axles free of charge. To do this, we have to send back the axles that were installed in February to Subaru for inspection and warranty coverage. The comment regarding "It doesn't even look like the work was done by us" was taken incorrectly. Your advisor was saying it doesn't look like something we would have done regarding the torn axle boots. He was thinking the insinuation was we damaged the boots when we installed the axles. I'm happy to send you a copy of your February invoice with the part numbers on it if you do not have a copy. Please let me know if that helped clear things up.
