Joe and his team did a great job identifying the issues and breaking down essentail and non-essential work, complete with separate $ estimates for each specific issue. The people at Granite Subaru are helpful, friendly, pleasant, and are what makes the place better. The reason for my low score is the price. I have owned Subaru’s for the past 15 plus years. My last Subaru was burning oil and I asked for an estimate to rebuild it as it had 127,000 miles on it. I was given an estimate on replacing it with one with 87,000 miles on it for a little over $5,000.00 with only a 6 month warranty. If I am going to spend that amount of money, I would hope the work and parts would last longer than 6 months. When I left I had an estimate totaling over $8000.00 including other work that was recommended. At that point I decided it was not worth it to keep my car so I went to another dealership and traded in and now have a new vehicle for less than what the estimated price of the work that had to be done to the Subaru. I have had 4 other Subaru’s that have lasted well over 250,000 miles with no major repair work needed. For me it seems like the quality of the brand has decreased and the prices have increased. I am no longer a Subaru owner because of that. More
