I ended up having to leave for another appointment and they asked how I'd like to be contacted when things were done, phone call, text or email and followed up twice during the process. Even took my car for a carwash which was unexpected. Great service all around. More

I originally sent my 2010 outback with 136,000 miles in for a noise from the back of the car and a mild vibration at high speeds. I was told at the counter that they would do a multi point inspection and get back to me when they put the quote together in the afternoon. When I received the call and they told me the multi point inspection report was emailed to me for my review. When I opened the PDF I found a very thorough and well designed report with photos of my actual car and all it’s issues spread through the first 5 pages of the report. I vaguely remember glancing at the final page that had the cost assessment on it. After My coworkers revived me and got me some water after my blackout I looked at the final page again at thought to myself “ my car is totaled”. I decided to double check and make sure I didn’t accidentally send my Subaru to a Ferrari dealership. After my research I decided to call back and tell them to fix the most expensive single item on the list that was causing the noise issue ( Both rear wheel bearings $1,222) and explain that I needed to get paid to pay them for the job. They were very understanding and told me to keep the loaner for the rest of the week and pick up my car on payday. When Friday came around I exchanged vehicles with no issues and went on my merry way. After noticing how the invoicing was done I couldn’t help but think that some of the items were definitely priced way too high and some parts were duplicated between a 120K service and listed individually like filters. My advice is that if you can possibly fix most smaller items yourself then you will save a ton of money and possibly your house. If you need a bigger job done, then take it here because they do a good job. Keep up the good work but lower your prices. Our lives depend on it. More

Good but too long Went in for 18000 mile oil change. Was told 1 hour but took almost 2 hours. Even with rotating tires and checking fluids it should not take that long. Everyone I interacted with were very friendly and professional. No one said why the delay but I am assuming the service techs are rather slow or the service center was overbooked. This is the second time I have called to make an appointment that the call has gone to your third party center and have caused problems when I have arrived. When I called in June to have the car inspected I was told no appointment necessary for insections. When I arrived the service department said this was not true but managed to work me in to get the car inspected as I live more than 10 miles from the dealer. My instinct is your third party call center is overbooking your servie department. Maybe you need to take a closer look at your third party call enter before you start to lose customers for less than adequate customer service. More

Fast and Excellent Service I brought my car in to have the rear brakes fixed on my Forester ($300). I initially felt the price was high. So I brought it to my local guy. He told I brought my car in to have the rear brakes fixed on my Forester ($300). I initially felt the price was high. So I brought it to my local guy. He told me a higher price ($450). I was quite baffled but he explained that it was better to replace the rotors there days instead of resurfacing them because of how thin they are made now. I went back to Granite Subaru, with a 10% coupon and they matched the price. in addition, I have a conversation with Tim in the service department and he informed me that they resurface rotors all the time and wasn't sure why my mechanic wouldn't have told me they should only be replaced. In the end I had new pads installed, and rotors resurfaced for $280. work was completed in under an hour and a half, and it feels like a job well done. More
