I went in to detect the reason for my CRV battery drain. After an hour I was told it was a parasite that would take 1-3 hours to detect. I requested to speak with the tech which was reluctantly allowed.$225 later they unplugged the remote starter. I received a job order from the "complimentary" engine check. They said my transmission fluid needed changing at 70,000 when it is really 90,000mi. both rear and front brakes and rotors were at 2-3 and needed changing. my mechanic inspected and said 5-7 for thickness, another 15-20,000miles. and they found a mice nest in the blower fan, and did not remove it because there is a "fee". They already charge $170/hr. and if they were in there already why would you not? My local mechanic removed a RAT from the engine compartment of my truck and removed it as part of the service. Not excited about the dealership "finding" service that is not needed and NOT providing it when they are getting paid because they can muster a "fee" for that. More
