Finally.....This dealership is breaking the stigma And the time came when I wanted something more in a vehicle. The online searching began and went on for about a month. Decided to sell my current vehicle myself to simplify the process. It was somewhat stressful and time consuming but I did it. I then went ahead and got prequalified at HCU to simplify the process even more. After countless hours of online research and then test drives, I considered a Hyundai. I had not really considered Hyundai before but I like the way the car looks and read good things about the company as a whole. I was not looking forward to actually having to play the dealership game but I was prepared for the worst. Cameron McClellan, internet sales guy at Green Hyundai, answered my email after I found the new Hyundai I was interested in. Test drove the car and sat down for a non confrontational chat. Maybe its where his office is located within the dealership (not in showroom, but to the side towards the back) as well as his personality but it was a stress free, good conversation. I had to get to work so I left with a deal written out that was simple to understand. I was going to think about it. Next morning comes and I get an email inviting me and the wife back so she could see it and ride in it as well. The car was ready for me again like the day before. Nobody likes waiting around for the car to be brought around so this was awesome in itself. Came back to the dealership and sat with Cameron. Confirmed the deal we had discussed and off he went to get the finance guy ready. I was thinking OK, this is where the stress starts because I will have to be assertive and turn down extras and refuse BS fees. Immediately got into the finance office thanks to Cameron and it was the most straight forward dealings I have ever had in my life at a car dealership. I mean I was ready for the worst but it didn't happen. Coolest finance guy ever! (cant remember his name, "sorry") I was out of his office in about 5 minutes. I then just waited a few minutes for the car to be washed and gassed up. Done! Easy! I had done my homework with TrueCar, NADA and comparisons. Cameron had put some rebates out there I didn't really even consider but I was eligible for to include Veterans. I left in my new car feeling and knowing that I got a good deal because the power of the internet tells you what a good deal is but if Cameron would not have been such a cool guy to deal with I may have continued researching until I drove myself crazy and that's a short drive. I highly recommend Green Hyundai for buying a car. Every staff I encountered was genuine and nice. I even talked to some other fellow customers that were there to just look and ended up buying a new car. I know that my situation was different in that I did not do a trade in and that can lessen the stress somewhat but from talking with the other happy customers, the trade in process was amazing to them so next time I will more than likely have to do a trade in. More
