NEVER NEVER AGAIN This was my first car buying experience and I will not be returning. I bought a car at the end of October - a used 2014 Ford Focus SE with less than 50,000 on it. When I bought it they replaced the battery and said I was good to guy and had me buy some after market insurance that they promised would be a good deal. End or January, my car breaks down completely. I need my battery replaced and Dick Smith Ford and the after market insurance won't cover it even though they had JUST placed in a new one in October. Then, got that put in and a few days later my car shuts down AGAIN. This time it's the Body Control Module. Again - my after market insurance and Dick Smith Ford don't cover it. They say the problem is an erosion of a wire but not a wire itself so technically it isn't an electrical issue and they won't cover it. THEN the check engine light comes on 3 weeks later. This time it's an Oxygen Tank or something. They say they'll cover $150 with my after market insurance but nothing else. So far on this brand new $14,000 I have spent more than $1500 and have not had my car for weeks at a time. My automechanic says that there is a leak in the car they can't find causing all this to occur. Obviously they didn't do a maintenance check before they put this car on the floor or sold it. Now, they won't pay for these things. The president of the company wont call us and they keep saying they will. When I try and talk I am put on hold. This is the most unhelpful experience of my life. I am beyond frustrated and at this point just want to get rid of this awful car they tricked me into. More

The store owner and manager called my daughter and my self to apologize and talked to us about how this was not there way of doing business and that they wanted to earn are trust back and they would rip up the deal that she signed and would write the deal over and make it right. I do appreciate them doing this and the way they handled the situation after it was brought to the owners attention. I do feel they are a place to shop and find a good deal. So I go and shop for a car with my daughter we work out the deal and the monthly payment, then I had to go as she heads to the finance guy to fill out the final paperwork, then they tell her they have a problem with the loan and they need to add gap insurance and the platinum warranty to it so she can get the car, now the price goes from 197 to 270! This place can not be trusted! 2nd time I have had problems with this place, but I like to try and buy local, so I gave them a 2nd chance. Never again will this place get my or anyone I knows business. Time to see if this is even a legal for them to require a warranty and gap insurance to get a loan! Can not believe they would prey on a young car buyer like this it's just sad. Do not trust them More
Can't get in there for service I bought the 100,000 mile ford service plan when I bought my new F-150 there. Called recently to get an oil change. Said I couldn't schedule one. So I stopped in on a Saturday morning after that.,,they said they were all booked up. I had to go to a different dealership to get the work done. The next time I needed work done, I called them early Saturday morning to stop in. Now they say they are all booked up and I need an appointment. Their waiting room is old an outdated with no electric outlets for a phone or iPad. I will go to different Ford Dealership to get service on my truck and will purchase my next truck somewhere else. More
Etremeley Rude Used Car Sales It saddens me to write this post because I bought my Ford Escape from Dick Smith Ford back in March of 2014 and I had the best experience with John Mi It saddens me to write this post because I bought my Ford Escape from Dick Smith Ford back in March of 2014 and I had the best experience with John Miller (now retired). My experience then was nothing but wonderful. Even after the car purchase for the last 2 years Dan Riggs has gone out of his way to help me! So, when it was time for my boyfriend to get a new car I highly recommended Dick Smith Ford. We went and looked on a Sunday while they were closed and he liked 3 different cars. I called the following week to make an appointment with someone in used car sales when I got Steve Pack. (Remember that name)!! I told Steve model numbers of 2 of the cars, but the 3rd didn't have a window sticker yet, so I described the car in detail and it's location on the lot... his response was, "Don't you see we have a lot of cars on our lot, I don't know what car that is." I should have cancelled my appointment then. But, my boyfriend liked the cars so we woke up bright and early on Saturday morning and went and test drove the 2 that I had stock numbers on. My boyfriend really liked one of them, but we had made a appointments with another dealer that afternoon with similar cars. Before we left, the used car manager came out and asked for our business. We went ahead and looked at other cars that day. but were drawn back to one we had seen at Dick Smith. So we called Steve and told him the price was extremely high for the value and wanted to negotiate price. He said he thought we could do that and to come back on into the dealership. Mind you, were were over an hour away!! We got back and Steve tried to rush us through paperwork without discussing price. We stopped him and asked if we could discuss price and he wasn't going to budge at all. He didn't even consider where was wanted to be which was one $400 less. We weren't asking for an unreasonable deal. But he would negotiate AT ALL. We drive all the way because there because he said we could discuss price and he lied!! We had taken my mom because my boyfriend and I are fairly young and didn't want to be taken advantage of. My boyfriend and I decided on a max price previously before shopping and then shared that with my mother. When we got up to leave because Steve lied he began insulting my mother. He proceed to say she was doing a poor job at showing us kids how to negotiate and how dare her make us walk away from a car. He continued to SHOUT at us as we were walking out of the door. It was unbelievable. I can't even describe the horror if the situation. It is like Steve forgot we were the customer. AND, to top it off, as Steve was yelling at us all the way out of the door the used car sales manager just watched and listened to him. So disrespectful. Needless to say, we bought a car from Zeck Ford the next weekend. We highly recommend Zeck Ford. The car we purchased was in our price range and didn't have scratches, dents and a cigarette burns in the interior roof like the car at Dick Smith. Can't believe we even liked that car. More

I called at 11:00 and talked to Chad. I asked if there were any sales going on for tires. He told me about the Goodyears for a $70 rebate. He also said if I used my Ford card, there was another $70 rebate were any sales going on for tires. He told me about the Goodyears for a $70 rebate. Very happy with my experience at Dick Smith Ford. I just moved to the Kansas City area and needed a fuel efficient car for my new job. My dad worked for Ford so I have bought 4 new vehicles from Ford dealer moved to the Kansas City area and needed a fuel efficient car for my new job. My dad worked for Ford so I have bought 4 new vehicles from Ford dealerships all over the state of Missouri as I have moved around the state quite a bit. This was one of my best, if not my best, sales experience. They didn't push anything I didn't want or need and my salesman Dwight was exactly what I needed. He understands that I know a lot about Ford and knew exactly was I was looking for so he didn't push anything on me. Look forward to dealing with in the future as well as they have definitely earned my business. More
