The dealer was very responsive to identifying the problem with my new Sorrento when there was a manufacturing defect in the transfer case. My son has a 2019 Kia Forte that was stolen 5/26/2023. These Kia Models apparently have a flaw that makes them easy to steal, and it has become a big problem for law enforcement. A “club” style steering wheel lock can help make it harder to steal the car. After retrieving the stolen and damaged car, my son went to the Kia dealership, thinking they might help him prevent another theft. Not only did they refuse to help, they flat Out denied any problem with Kia car thefts; even after being presented with multiple news articles documenting the problem. I thought Kia was famous for their customer service. Very disappointing. More
Unless your vehicle is brand new and still under warranty, DO NOT take your car here for service or maintenance. No matter how big or how small they will charge you a $200.00 diagnostic fee up front. And then overcharge you for parts. I brought my 2013 Kia Optima in to have my automatic side view mirror fixed because the motor would not stop running. They wanted to charge me $700+ for a whole new mirror + and additional $200 labor. $900 for a side view mirror on a 10 year old car. I said no thank you, I can buy a whole mirror assembly for $75 off the internet and pay my mechanic $100 to install it! They disconnected one plug to stop the motor from running and put it back together. Still charged me $224 for "diagnostics". What a rip-off. Only take your car there under warranty or to satisfy their many recalls (like their cars catching fire and main bearing failures on some of their engines)! More

I am very disappointed with level of service that I received from Matt in the Service Department. I had a 30K scheduled maint. that was $680 approx. I asked if I could receive the 15% off that they jus received from Matt in the Service Department. I had a 30K scheduled maint. that was $680 approx. I asked if I could receive the 15% off that they just recently had and also get the Free car wash. No problem he said. I show up 5 hours later and the cost of the job increased to $735! More expensive than I was quoted on line and certainly not a discount. He then proceeds to give me $50 off but still more than the original price. Then I go to my car and the complimentary car wash was not done! He told me to come back the following Saturday and that he would give me a full detail car clean for the inconvenience. I arrived and he said it would take less than an hour. I wait an hour, still not done. I told him I had errands to run and that I would come back several hours later. I arrive and they only did the outside! No detail clean as he stated. I am in the customer service industry and I do not like to complain but this was the most disappointing experience I have ever had to deal with in a car dealership. The only thing I want is for you to do what you say your going to do, nothing more. I guess that was too much to ask for. Very disappointed. More
