They wanted $500 for an oil change and a tire rotation. They called it a 15000 mile service, but in the manual it only says to do the oil, rotate tires, and inspect everything else. I found a shop that did They called it a 15000 mile service, but in the manual it only says to do the oil, rotate tires, and inspect everything else. I found a shop that did everything for $70, and he went by KIA recommendations. Then I had the plastic fender flare on the rear ds become detached at the base. They tell me roughly $70 in parts, but $400 in labor. I'm going to an auto body guy that will do a better job for $150. They are rude and could care less if you bought a car there, it's an attempt to drain you of as much money as possible. There are a lot of service garages that have experienced, courteous workers that will do the work for a fraction of the cost. If I ever need dealer service, it won't be there. More

Had my 2017 Kia Sedona towed in because it was overheating and had issues with ac controller and power sliding doors. After 2 months my car is still not completely repaired. Today I had the car t overheating and had issues with ac controller and power sliding doors. After 2 months my car is still not completely repaired. Today I had the car towed out because I wasn’t waiting anymore. They may not have been fixing my car for 2 month but they were doing something… my hardwired dual facing camera was found unplugged and all video of them with my vehicle for the full 2 months has been deleted from the SIM card. I went immediately to the dealership to discuss how this was going to be resolved but instead I was told no one was available to help me with the matter and to come back the next day. When I advised I had called the sheriff in order to file a police report I was asked to leave because they were closing and needed to lock up the doors… scared to even allow myself to imagine what was done to my car, done in my car and or what they did with the video footage that was on the SIM card of myself and my kids driving in the vehicle for the time prior to coming to the dealership. My 18 year old son purchased a vehicle 9 months ago (paid in full on date of purchase using his entire savings). The vehicle is a 2017 Kia Forte - Certified Preowned with an additional 12/12,000 bumper to b in full on date of purchase using his entire savings). The vehicle is a 2017 Kia Forte - Certified Preowned with an additional 12/12,000 bumper to bumper coverage. Purchased with a total of 23,293 miles. Vehicle currently has 32,000 miles. Purchased on 12/26/2021. Vehicle has been properly maintained and not neglected. All service records can be provided. Kia Motors is denying a repair that should be covered under the warranty. On 09/19/21 at 3:37 my son was traveling at 52 mph down the highway in the car with no warning or error codes. At 3:39 and error was detected, the engine light and the oil light came on. There was no oil spray or smoke. At 3:40 the vehicle was on the side of the highway going 0 miles per hour. (Information retrieved from GPS/Mechanical tracker). There have been no mechanical error codes going back to at least May 01, 2021. There was no oil on the road or under the car. The car was towed directly from the spot the vehicle broke down at to Kia Greenway East. After having the car for 12 days (the car was moved/started/disconnected from the monitoring device on several occasions). On 10-01-21 The Kia dealership claimed the engine is damaged due to missing oil plug and the will need to be replaced at our cost (approximately $6,900.00). My husband and my son went to the dealership on the same day and asked to see the engine. The mechanic used the optic camera to look at the inside of the engine per my husband's request. The engine was clean and had an oil plug. The mechanic could not offer an explanation about the plug being there because their records showed the plug as missing. A person claiming to be the service center assistant manager also could not provide and explanation about the plug. There was no evidence of a major oil spray on the engine of the car, the under body of the car or on the ground. The assistant manager also agreed the body damage would be repaired ( after viewing the pictures the tow company provided). The following day the dealership claimed the oil plug was missing when they received the car so they put a new one on to see if the engine just needed oil. I do not believe this. They also stated the engine is now knocking, which was not occurring previously. They are claiming there was no oil in the engine when they received the vehicle. I do not believe this because there is no evidence. They are claiming the issue was caused by an "outside source" because kia did not do the last oil change. Kia is stating the reputable auto repair company that changed his oil on June 09, 2021 must not have put the plug in correctly. They are stating the vehicle ran fine for 15 weeks with no oil leakage, no warnings, no oil lights, no error codes or issues and then suddenly in the matter of about 90 seconds the oil plug fell out, all of the oil drained from engine (without getting on any part of the engine/car/ground) and the engine was so severely damaged it has to be replaced-all in less than 2 minutes. In addition, the vehicle sustained body damage while in the Dealerships Service Center. The tow company took pictures before towing the car. The tow company also took pictures after the car was delivered to kia. The pictures clearly show there was no damage to the exterior of the car when the car was delivered. The damage was noticed on September 25, 2021 when I took my son to the dealership to retrieve some item from the car. On September 27, 2021 a person claiming to be the Sales Manager stated he checked a form that is completed when a car is left at the dealership and it does state that there is no body damage and that the dealership would take care of the damage caused at the dealership. On October 07, 2021 the dealership advised Kia Motors they would be responsible of the body damage as it must have been caused during towing. Therefore, they are now claiming the damage did not occur at the dealership. This company has taken advantage of an 18 year old consumer who does not even had a ride to get to college now. We were treated rudely by their service persons, lied to, and had to wait almost 15 days for a diagnosis. We have now been told that we have to have the vehicle of the lot by Monday October 11, 2021 or we will be charged $45.00 a day for storage and that they are not going to be responsible for replacing the engine or fixing the body damage that they caused or a least made worse. I would be glad to provide documentation of all of the contact attempts to the dealership and Kia Consumer Assistance to get updates, Phone records, reports from the GPS/Mechanical codes for the vehicle and pictures taken by the tow company after the car was placed at Kia showing there is no body damage. I can also provide documentation that the dealership was aware of the body damage and provide the time, date and texts where the pictures were forwarded to the dealership. More
Day 35 Once again no phone calls from Kia East in Orlando Florida. After 21 days of them refusing to answer calls about My car that was taken by wrecker on August 11th. I called corporate and on day 24 and f Florida. After 21 days of them refusing to answer calls about My car that was taken by wrecker on August 11th. I called corporate and on day 24 and filed a complaint. On day 27 I finally talked to the service manager and lead service tech. They had no diagnosis on the vehicle except that with 61,000 miles they felt it was an abrupt engine failure. Kia corporate disagrees with their assessment. After blessing everyone out for not communicating with me for over three weeks, we made an agreement that Gina (service manager) or Edward (lead service tech) would call me each Wednesday before 4:00pm for a weekly update. Two Wednesdays have passed with no phone calls. Now when I call to inquire. No one is available to take the call or give me information about the car. All the while we have been paying for a rental car the entire time. Kia will only reimburse if it turns out to be a warranty related item. It has a 10 year or 100,000 mile power train warranty. My daughter was driving on the interstate when the car lost power. Placing her in a very dangerous situation. A law enforcement officer was kind enough to stop and check on her. He also said she was not safe where the car stopped and had to push her car about 1/2 mile to get her to safety. The car will run. She had the AC on for over an hour waiting on the tow truck. But it will not accelerate. No warning lights and no overheating. Moral of my story. DO NOT buy a Kia and think they will stand behind their warranty or vehicle. They cannot even diagnose the issue. It’s all on your buck until it’s diagnosed. Then and understandably so will the reimburse your rental car at ~$500.00 per week if it’s a covered part. It takes 6-8 weeks for them to reimburse you. Most importantly we do not have a diagnosis 35 days later. If I go to get the car and take it to another dealership, I have to pay for all the work they say has been performed thus far and Kia will not reimburse anything. The last time I called it just so happened that my daughter was in the lobby to get some belongings out of her car. When the lady answering the phone mentioned my name Edward and Gina started making inappropriate comments about me right in front of the customers daughter (my daughter). It went in long enough that it’s now on video. Finally they acknowledged my daughter and ask if they could help. She said yes I’m the daughter of the person you just made those comments about. It was a hush over the service department. They had no idea someone would be there because we live six hours away. I have called every day for 24 days before getting a “we don’t know what’s wrong with your car”. Now they have not called me like we agreed and once again no one is available to take my calls. More
Our service there was great! Had an oil change. However, one young man in the parts department was fussing at another employee within hearing range of customers. He should have taken that outside or close t one young man in the parts department was fussing at another employee within hearing range of customers. He should have taken that outside or close to the parts window or something or took him in an office. Every other word he said was bro. And his voice was quite loud. I gave a look but it was unseen. That does not bode well with customers to hear a boss chewing out an employee. Our oil change went well though and that part of our service was great. They just need to be mindful of customers in the waiting area. More
Year old Kia Soul, bought brand new. Appt at 10:20 a.m. due to their recall. No call regarding diagnosis. Called at the end of the day and "my guy" was already gone. I was told someone else would call, nob due to their recall. No call regarding diagnosis. Called at the end of the day and "my guy" was already gone. I was told someone else would call, nobody did. Going on 26 hours now with no update, nobody's available for discussion, voice mail boxes are full. I've missed part of my work for two days now. This "service" doesn't generate any revenue, otherwise I imagine I'd have my car back by now. This is the second time I've been screwed on this thing. More
I purchased my 2015 Kia Soul a bit ago and was never given my floor mats which were in the car when I test drove it. I reached out multiple times only to be given the brush off every time. They DENIED t given my floor mats which were in the car when I test drove it. I reached out multiple times only to be given the brush off every time. They DENIED the mats were ever in there. I had my sister with me during the test drive and she saw them as well. This is absolutely unacceptable. And what’s the deal with your “complimentary amenities” for customers waiting 2 hours for an oil change? I wouldn’t think it would be too difficult to stock simple things like water and coffee for your customers WHO SPENT THOUSANDS of dollars to purchase a vehicle from you and continue to have their car serviced at your dealership. Overall, I am very disappointed in this dealership and plan on purchasing my next Kia elsewhere. More
