What should have been an exciting purchase of a brand-new 2025 Sorento quickly turned into a nightmare filled with lies, poor service, and even a crash caused by dealership staff—just four days after purchase. During the test drive, my husband noticed the vehicle pulling to the right, which the salesman Ender dismissed as a road issue. I later experienced the same problem driving home after buying the car. We contacted the dealership immediately and were scheduled for an alignment 2 days later. After spending over 4 hours there, we were told the alignment had been completed—only to later find out it hadn’t. Multiple employees gave conflicting explanations, ranging from road conditions to lane assist features, none of which resolved the issue. The service manager even claimed the car wouldn’t drive straight until it was “broken in” after 1,500 miles. After escalating the issue to the general manager, they finally agreed to put the car on the alignment machine—something that should have been done from the start. Nearly two hours later, we noticed via the app that the car had been taken off-site and hadn’t moved in over 45 minutes. When we asked the service rep Al Dopman why, he claimed they were on a 4th and final test drive. Moments later, as I was speaking with the general manager, Al ran over to inform me the car had actually been in an accident—which was why it wasn’t moving. So not only were we lied to again, but after spending nearly 8 hours at the dealership, our brand-new, 4-day-old vehicle was crashed by their staff. They offered us a rental car, which my husband immediately refused—understandably, since we had just purchased the vehicle and were not even in it when it was damaged. The general manager, Mike Wangle, also mentioned involving our insurance, which was completely unacceptable and would unfairly impact our premiums. To this day, nearly a month later I am still being contacted by the insurance company as my name was attached to this claim without my permission. Ultimately, they allowed us to leave with a different new vehicle (same model) and promised to do a collateral swap a few days later. Given how much we had been misled, I had serious doubts this would actually happen and experienced severe stress and anxiety in the days that followed. I am also currently almost 7 months pregnant, and this ordeal caused significant emotional and physical strain. They did complete the swap, but the poor service unfortunately continued. When I returned to pick up the spare key, the customer service rep, Cherry Farinas, attempted to fill out my Kia corporate customer survey on my phone behind my back. She was blocked by my work VPN, thankfully. When confronted, she claimed she “only pressed the 10/10 to open the webpage”—ironic, considering the survey was never mentioned. She had previously said she needed a reference number from my email to enter me into a drawing to win a TV. Cherry then promised to write me a $2,500 check if I gave them a 9 or 10 on the survey, which I found highly unethical. After some consideration, I agreed but requested the check in hand before completing the survey. Of course, they refused, citing accounting turnaround times of over a week. I decided to wait until the check was ready, but now that over two weeks has passed, Cherry has ignored my texts and claimed she is now on leave. After spending nearly $40,000 on a new vehicle, the dishonesty, negligence, and manipulation I experienced are beyond unacceptable. I truly regret not purchasing from another dealership. While I do love the car itself, the process was a nightmare—filled with stress, anxiety, and unethical behavior from multiple staff members. Being 7 months pregnant, this ordeal took a serious toll on my well-being. I hope no one else has to go through what I did, and I will go out of my way to avoid this dealership in the future. More

I am a longtime customer of Greenway Kia. I have bought cars from them for twenty years. I have always had my cars serviced at the dealership. The reason being that the management, sales staff, and service reps have always been professional, kind, and helpful. I have always received excellent service from everyone I have dealt with. I highly recommend Greenway Kia to purchase or lease from and for all service needs. My latest experience was with my service rep, Luis, and it was great! He was kind, polite, and knowledgeable. He made sure I understood the process, that I was kept aware of what was going on, and how long it would take. He also made sure that I knew where the waiting area was and what was available for my comfort. It was another excellent experience with an excellent representative of the Greenway Kia family! More
