Discrimination, Dismissal, and a Missed Opportunity to Help a Young Family Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Luis and Josh Josh (5 star)★★★★★ I am writing this review not out of anger, but to protect other familie Help a Young Family Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Luis and Josh Josh (5 star)★★★★★ I am writing this review not out of anger, but to protect other families from the treatment my daughter and I received at Greenway Kia West Palm Beach on October 29 & 30, 2025. We are a hardworking family in the 33407 area trying to purchase a reliable, affordable used car so my daughter can get to work, take her 1-year-old to daycare, and I can drive my younger daughter to school and doctor visits. We don’t have much, but what we have, we earned. We value every dollar and every opportunity. Day 1 (Oct 29): We arrived after paying for Uber, arranging childcare, and walking 20+ minutes when a borrowed car battery died. We worked with Josh (a new salesperson) and another manager who showed genuine compassion. Josh took his time, listened, and treated my daughter as the buyer. The manager even coached Josh — a beautiful moment of teamwork. We left feeling hopeful and planned to return. Day 2 (Oct 30) — The Problem: We returned with the same goal. Josh was again kind and professional. But when Manager Luis joined the table, everything changed. He never looked at my daughter (the actual buyer). He spoke only to me, even after Josh clarified I was not purchasing. He stared at my younger daughter (a teenager with dreads) in a way that made her grab my grandson and leave the table to avoid his gaze. He demanded $4,000 down with no explanation, no bank check, no alternatives — then cut us off when we tried to ask questions. He stood up, said “goodnight,” and dismissed us like we were wasting his time. My daughter — a young mother trying to build a better life — held back tears as she carried her son out. We had begged rides, walked, called in favors just to be treated as invisible. This was not about money. This was about respect. We were judged by: Her age Her appearance (dreads, casual clothes) Her race The fact she doesn’t “look rich” Josh deserved better training support. The first manager deserved recognition. Luis’s behavior was unacceptable and reflects poorly on Greenway Kia. We will not return, and I will not recommend this dealership to anyone — especially young families, people of color, or first-time buyers. I review every experience, good and bad. When someone shines (like Josh), I shout it. When someone discriminates, I warn the world. Kia Corporate: Please investigate. Greenway Kia GM: Please retrain on customer dignity. To future buyers: Look elsewhere. Try Carvana, Carmax, or a credit union lot. You deserve to be seen. More
Just want you to know I was very impressed with the service i received. I was informed as the car moved from one step to another. The only thing that I was disappointed in and it had nothing to do wit service i received. I was informed as the car moved from one step to another.
