This is a warning for anyone looking at Greenwich Ford. I am speaking up because I have the documentation to back up every word. My experience from January was a textbook shell game. When I walked in wit I am speaking up because I have the documentation to back up every word. My experience from January was a textbook shell game. When I walked in with my wife, I was met by three different people who looked us in the eye and lied. One man shook our hands, patted us on the shoulder, and promised, "We'll take care of you," while giving me a false name and position. After seven months of digging, I discovered that I never even met the real General Manager. I realized the extent of the deception only after bringing the truck back to the service desk to address the issues I noticed during the test drive—specifically the engine ticking from the leaking exhaust manifolds and the steering shimmy. It was there that I was informed of a "down payment" requirement for a warranty fix, which led me to uncover the truth about my deal. The finance manager had pulled off a classic bait-and-switch: my $6,000 down payment disappeared on one copy of the contract but reappeared when reported to the finance company, while the price of the truck was inflated from $30,000 to $39,864. They funneled that money into DOWC warranties I never asked for and never signed for. This has cost me thousands of dollars in financing charges over the life of the loan. To make matters worse, my contract states a 72-month term, but my finance company’s app shows a 73-month term. I also realized that the repairs they tried to charge me for should have been covered under their own 60-day/3,000-mile "good to go" guarantee. Doing my own research was a gold mine that finally answered questions we haven't been able to solve for seven months. There are names appearing in these reviews that aren't on any official rosters. It is shocking what goes on with these dealerships and the games they play. I am thorough, and I am preparing for my day in court because I have the documentation to prove exactly what happened. Check your paperwork closely before you take that truck or car home, even if you just finished signing the deal. Compare every copy to ensure your down payment is applied correctly and the loan terms match. Research the staff before you go so you know exactly who you are dealing with. More
I have had my vehicle serviced there for about the last 2 years. For the last 6 months I developed a very slow leak of oil in the driveway. I reported it three times and each time nothing was found. Finally years. For the last 6 months I developed a very slow leak of oil in the driveway. I reported it three times and each time nothing was found. Finally I decided to crawl underneath and take a look myself. In about 15 seconds I found the rear PTU leaking. How it was never spotted was beyond me. I had also complained a couple times of a rattle underneath the driver's side. Each time nothing was found. While looking for the oil leak I found one of the splash shields was missing a clip and was not secure. Once I told them where the oil leak was they confirmed it and ordered parts. What I didn't realize is they don't have loaners. Although the vehicle is under warranty I am responsible for the rental which does not reimburse the full amount. They do not have loaners though they will likely need the car for more than a day. Not sure who they have looking at these cars but I'm never coming back. More

The new spring is working great, but I ended up with a deep scratch on the clear plastic gauge pack cover. I was told by the service manager that they are not responsible for the damage. I was told that they would try buffing it but, if that didn't work I am out of luck. I was also told that the steering wheel is too far from the clear shield for it to be damaged by their tech . The average length screwdriver is 8 inches. More than long enough to do this damage. I will no longer go to Greenwich ford. More
The visit was a repeat after an oil change. I was notified that the cabin filter had to be changed due to a mouse nest. I agreed to that. I think the fan/AC should have been checked after the filter was changed. When I went to use the AC there was a loud noise. We called the dealership and they made a second appointment (a few days out) to have us return for them to check it out saying something most likely fell down into the unit. Again, had the AC/fan been checked after replacing the cabin filter we would not have had to leave the vehicle a second time which cost us another $97. It was a bit frustrating. I just thought it was worth mentioning More
This dealership is the biggest joke in all of New York. I’ve done hundred of oil changes without an issue and the one time I go to them for one, they tightened the drain plug so much that it broke my socket without even budging. They are supposedly a bunch of master technicians, but done even know how to do an oil change right and can’t even answer the phone so I could talk to them about it. You just get transferred and transferred until you reach someone not there and have to leave a message. The biggest mistake of my life was doing business with Greenwich ford and it is the last time I will ever go to them for anything. More

*BUYER BEWARE* Just a PSA regarding Greenwich Ford. A few weeks ago, I hit a pothole that caused damage to a vehicle I purchased at Greenwich Ford. When I purchased the vehicle, I purchased an extended warranty. I reached out to them to see if the damage would be covered. While my guess was that it wouldn't be covered, I had seen references from people regarding this issue with my model of vehicle that had been covered by Ford. And so I emailed them, explaining the situation and including a picture. They requested that I bring the car in so they could determine how much, if anything would be covered under the warranty. My wife dropped the car off and when she picked it up, they charged us a $200 "diagnostic fee" just to tell us that damage by a pothole is not covered as it is considered an act of God. This is something that could have been disclosed without a visit to Ford "for a diagnosis". And no fee for diagnosing this was ever disclosed to me. It is a shame that Greenwich Ford does business in this fashion. I do NOT recommend that anyone does business with a company that engages in such shady practices. More
