Have been trying to get ahold of a service writer for 2 weeks and only get voice mail. Whoever answers the phone first won't stick their head around the corner and look to see who isn't on the phone. Dropped my car off on March 5th for service. Now March 21st and cannot even get the manager to call me back as to when my vehicle will be ready. I purchased a used 2021 Hyundai Kona. Post sale, the General Manager Mr. Angelo Minichiello intervened and assisted me by going over and above resolving the issues at hand. I could not have asked for a more honest, sincere gentleman who immediately stepped up, made the proper business decisions and without question fixed the items the car was in need of. It was not his legal or professional obligation to fix what he did. Further the cost involved will no doubt cut into the dealers bottom line. Yet his actions will result in repeat business with family and friends without hesitation. Thank you also to Ash my salesman who was a delight to work with. I was there today-bad experience. Firstly, they had 2 cars identical except for the tires/rims. They showed a price drop on the one with better wheel options. Immediately called regarding it and spoke to a man named David. He had a salesman, Zach call me. Oddly it was already sold (someone JUST put a deposit check on it) BUT they had another just like it for several thousand $ more. I am suspicious (thinking to myself bait and switch) so I question it- the salesman said the discounted one had been on the lot longer (tho the carfax shows both came from a fleet co in PA. So??? #2. I thought ok if I can still get a good deal on the other one I am interested-I had been working for - couple days on price,& fees negotiation with the salesman. Last night we hung thinking we had the deal made. I drove 3 hrs to see the car today. Car was good. Sat down and now the salesman says the manager won’t ok it. Wants another $2000. I said no. They let me sit probably 15 minutes. Salesman returns- mgr won’t budge. I stood up and shook the salesman hand and told him no deal. He says wait wait will u talk to the mgr directly. So I go. The mgr doesn’t look at me and launches into his rational of why he just can’t honor that price. I said that was price I came for. He said maybe in 30 more days he’d sell it for that-again I doubt the 2 cars came at different times from PA but…. I said well call me in 30 days then.. he said it won’t still be here. I said oh well good for you , I can live without it. I was really NOT happy. I felt like I was lied to. While I was waiting on the salesman’s consult with the mgr. a man in his maybe 30’s and another man who looked to be his dad were with a Salesman at the next desk. I heard the salesman tell them the car they came to see was also not there and unbeknownst to the salesman was assumed to be sold and they were directed to another choice. The original car I wanted is still shown as available on the dealerships website. My husband and I spent a lot of time on this car deal-. My advice is buyer beware. More
