Really worked hard for me!! June 23,2014 I purchased a 2013 equinox from Auto Nation Ft Laud. From the beginning our sales associate Isreal was wonderful and helpful. He took us June 23,2014 I purchased a 2013 equinox from Auto Nation Ft Laud. From the beginning our sales associate Isreal was wonderful and helpful. He took us on a test drive and encouraged us to take our time . I had great customer service from Isreal, our sales associate, Chris and Anthony the sales managers. They really searched for our right equinox for me!! The price was terrific. I have been searching for an equinox with a 6 cylinder engine for 1 yr and Auto Nation of Ft Lauderdale not only found the auto but even gave me more then I could have expected with a 3.6l, 6 cylinder engine. This is the 3rd Chevy I have purchased from them and I am waiting for the 2015 Colorado to come out and maybe try for the 4th. Thank You for the best customer service ever and price!!!!!!!!! Pat More
BAD EXPERIENCE On about 6/3/2014 I contacted Autonation Chevy in Fort Lauderdale Florida about a corvette that was for sale on there web site. The first sales perso On about 6/3/2014 I contacted Autonation Chevy in Fort Lauderdale Florida about a corvette that was for sale on there web site. The first sales person didn't know much about the car and had me talk to Cameron. I asked him question about the car specifically about abrasions chips in the paint etc. he told me the car was clean and beautiful I also asked about transporting the car which he indicated they did all the time. On 6/12/2014 I sent an appraiser to Autonation to look at the car take pictures and give me his general impression. On 6/13/2014 I got the pictures back the general impressions were good there were abrasion on the splitter which Cameron did not advise me of and when I did asked him about them he made it sound like no big deal, of course he wasn't buying the car. I made and offer to Cameron on 6/17/2014 and of course he had to talk to his manager. He came back saying his manager was going to make me a great deal of course the price was higher which I did not accept. Later on in the day I received a text from Cameron wanting to know how fast I wanted to move on this car cause according to Autonation policy it had to be sent to the Orlando dealership if I wasn't going to move on the car. Strong arm tactics by dealership LOL. I told him to give them the car that I was not budging from my original offer and he said OK. Later that evening I get a phone call from Cameron saying they accepted my offer, I thought it was going to Orlando; and wanted a deposits proof of insurance DL all of which I provided immediately I asked him about transporting the car preferable in a trailer that was enclosed I also told him I had contacted several reputable haulers to do the job which he said could not be done cause they were responsible for moving the car. On 6/18/2014 I wired the funds for the car in full and told Cameron to expect them. I also asked him info on the transport people which he said was in the works. On6/19/2014 Cameron told me they had received the wire transfer I asked him about transport info again which he would not be able to give me till 6/23/2014. On6/23/2014 I called about paperwork that needed to be done on the car which was overnighted 6/24/2014the next day and signed in front of a notary. While doing the paperwork we noticed my name was spelt wrong correction were made and I called Cameron telling him about the mistake, my gosh they had my DL and still couldn't doit right, and that new paper work would have to be overnighted with the correct spelling of my name so I could take care of the TTL and drive the car when it arrived. He said he would get it done. He also told me the car would leave Wednesday and arrive at my house on Friday I asked if the hauler was enclosed he said no. So your going to transport my expensive car in an open trailer wow this is what I was afraid of. Well now they have my money the paperwork with the wrong name and as much as I ask them to do what is right Autonation gets farther away from customer service. On 6/25/2014 still have not receive corrected paperwork and the transporter calls my house wanting to pick up the corvette from my house and ship it to Fort Lauderdale. Does this sound like a company that knows what is going on. I called Autonation to make them aware of the screw up the GM Pete Small was helpful he said he would take care of the situation. On 6/26/2014 left Text with Cameron about if the car had been picked up and if paperwork had been sent out with no response. Called later on that evening to check on transport and spoke to Chris a sales manager said the car was leaving and would arrive Saturday not Friday as promised, by the way I took off work Friday to receive the car. Chris also advise me that the paperwork was in the car not overnighted as promised many times by Cameron. He also sent me the invoice for transport and drivers cell phone finally not as promised be Cameron. On6/27/2014 I get a call from Cameron telling me the car is on the way which I already new YA Cameron to the rescue. I called Autonation to find out where the correct paper work for the car was I figured if it was arriving today I could still get the TTL done and drive the car when it arrives. At this point no one is wanting to talk to me everyone is busy my faith in Cameron is nullnvoid. Pete Small calls me to inform me that the paperwork is in the car WOW. Now I have taken off of work for nothing no car no paperwork nothing. I also informed Pete that the transport fee should not be part of the cost of the car so I would not have the pay taxes for transport. I didn't know if this point had been corrected on the new paperwork but I did make them aware of it earlier. Small point I know but nothing has gone as planed. 6/28/2014 the car arrives in an enclosed transport thanks to Mr. Pete Small the GM the car is absolute gorges. Where is the paperwork oh here it is---- not corrected spelled wrong no title. So now I have this expensive car sitting in my drive way can't drive cause Ill get a ticket nothing to prove that it is my car. Call Pete Small told him about the problem explained that the uncorrected paperwork was no good. The TTL place told me the paperwork would have to either be redone or an addendum page notarized would have to be sen stating they misspelled my name. Mr. Small said he would get back in touch with me. 6/30/14 Called Mr. Small again he said title should be there in an hour and the rest of the paperwork would be overnight with Fedex. He forgot to make changes on transport cost being added in on the cost of the car and would make good on the taxes I would pay. 7/1/2014 Checked Fedex tracking paperwork still in Fort Lauderdale and would not arrive until Thursday not overnighted as promised. Here we go again, so instead of one week not driving the car it will be two cause Friday 4th of july and the TTL is not open on the weekend. Called Pete again he gave me a new tracking number and said it would be overnighted can't track the new Fedex number. I have been a patron of Gm vehicles for the last 30 years and never have I experience such lack of customer service as I have with AUTONATION CHEVY in Fort Lauderdale Florida I have times dates emails and text to prove all of this. To warn the American public about this place. Today 7/3/2014 the paperwork is here TTL done drove the car for the first time WOW THANK YOU MR. PETE SMALL FOR TAKING CHARGE WHEN THINGS WENT WRONG. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT PERSONEL WHO LACK COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO GET A JOB DONE. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND DELIVERED NOTHING BUT HEADACHES INSTEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. More
The car was over heating and they said it was the cooling fan motor. They quoted me one price then tried to charge me more. I had to fight with them over the phone to get the same quoted price. They cooling fan motor. They quoted me one price then tried to charge me more. I had to fight with them over the phone to get the same quoted price. They replaced it and a week later the car started to leak gas. I took it to another dealership and they fixed it. It's so coincidental that my car had another issue less than a week after being repaired by this dealership. More
I test drove a 2013 volt at Maroone Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale resulting in what I thought was a working relationship with both the salesman (James/Jim Murray) and through previous e-mail contact with Lauderdale resulting in what I thought was a working relationship with both the salesman (James/Jim Murray) and through previous e-mail contact with a manager Peter Small. That was until I sent both of them a publicized price of another dealership in Florida advertising a dealer discount of 3,000.00 off MSRP on 2013 Chevy Volts (an extra 2,000 if you qualified for the 0% financing). This being a savings of 5,000.00 off MSRP, I titled my e-mail query to this dealership with....better deal in Tampa? In response, the salesman sent me an e-mail indicating in part, that he'd try to get me that very same discount. I responded with a....looking forward to your reply. I never asked for anything more than what this Tampa dealership was publicly offering and advertising on their dealership website. Two days later I had yet to receive a response, so I again e-mailed the salesman with a copy to the manager asking if there was any update on matching the discount. Another day passed and still, I received no response. I then contacted the dealership in Tampa (Daniels Chevrolet) and the sales person I spoke to arranged to not only pick me up at the airport, but to pay for my flight to Tampa as well. Needless to say, a new 2013 Volt purchased from this dealership at a no haggle advertised price now sits in my driveway. Although I would have preferred to purchase my new car locally, (I mean, who you gonna call?) I was astounded by the lack of urgency from this dealership in responding to my query. To make matters even worse, (as of this writing), it's been 8 days now since I had last e-mailed them and still, I have heard nothing. It's as if to say....we hope this guy goes away and takes the Tampa offer with him......if that was the intent...they excel in that business practice because it worked. Maybe the e-mail system for the dealership has been down and they still have not repaired it, maybe they expected me to call them begging them to make this deal with me, maybe they lost both my work and home e-mails and don't remember where I told them I worked or lived.....maybe. I first met Mike Maroone in the early 80's when I was a member of a Chevy car club he sponsored at what I believe was his first dealership located in Hollywood FL on 441. I seem to recall that back then, he and his sales force did whatever they needed to do, to match or better a sale. I remember seeing him still working at store closing when we finished our club meetings. Today, 8 million or more deals later, along with catchy jingles and a local sports hero, the Maroone name now reaches across county lines....it has become a......Auto Nation, if you will....a conglomerate in auto sales. Maybe I'm just a small fish in what has grown into a vast ocean for him......maybe he doesn't need my patronage and maybe....just maybe....he doesn't need yours as well. Update: I just received a canned computer generated e-mail with my salesmans name Jim Murray attached to asking me if I'd still like to purchase a car....looks like their e-mail works just fine. More

My wife and I were away from home when my car had a mechanical failure. We had to get the car towed to the the nearest Chevrolet Dealer from where we were which was Maroone in Ft. Lauderdale. Brian wa mechanical failure. We had to get the car towed to the the nearest Chevrolet Dealer from where we were which was Maroone in Ft. Lauderdale. Brian was the first person to approach us when we came in, and made us feel welcome from that very instance. It was late Saturday afternoon and we knew that nothing could be done until Monday. With no way to get home, Brian offered to drive us there. We took him up on his offer which was way beyond the call of duty. Although my car was past the warranty period, Brian worked out a mutually satisfactory offer to get the car repaired. Not only would I recommend the dealership and Brian to all Chevy owners, I will make it my duty to return there for service in the future even though it's far from home. Quality service goes a long way. I will undoubtedly purchase my next Chevy from them as well. More
Our family has purchased a number of cars from Maroone and have had them serviced there as well. We have bought cars before we had children, then moved on to mini-vans and kid-friendly vechicles, and have and have had them serviced there as well. We have bought cars before we had children, then moved on to mini-vans and kid-friendly vechicles, and have now bought first cars for both of our children. We rely on Brad Drake's recommendations - and he has always been right. We wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a car. For service, Brian Crystall is the guy. He is always thorough, gives honest advice and recommendations and follows through. More

I took my 2008 Chevy Duramax in for engine warranty repair for one defective glow plug. After the work was completed, they informed me I would have to pay a $100.00 deductable for this under warranty r repair for one defective glow plug. After the work was completed, they informed me I would have to pay a $100.00 deductable for this under warranty repair ! The deductible they referenced did NOT apply to my truck, as eveidenced by my local Indiana dealer. Further, I argued this point with them to no avail. The $100.00 charged was way over the actual cost of repair, had there been no warranty at all !! The glow plug retail was $38.00, and labor cost of about 15 minutes to change. If their labor rate was say, $100.00 per hour, that would be about $25 bucks for labor. Plus these people charged GM the full warranty cost, getting paid more than double for my job !! My local dealer got me the refund of the $100.00, but how could anyone trust a service job from this outfit ?? I hope GM came back at them and retrieved their money due them, otherwise , dealers like this will likely cause the company to go bankrupt again !!! Furthermore, for a 15 miinute job, they had my truck tied up for 3 days for an appointment I made with them 3 weeks earlier !!! Very poor service, and I will never go back to their facility for any reason !!! More
