We had a car with a blown engine-completely unrelated to Griffin. We wanted to have a dealer replace it for future warranty purposes. They quoted $7k, we knew it would be expensive. When we went to pick it up they walked us to another room and told us they misquoted, it would actually be over $10k! We argued and eventually they "went to see the manager and would honor the original quote". Along the way they made a comment about "already not making any commission on this" -wait what? Your service dept desk works on commission??? Sounds like a great way to over spec repairs. Couldn't be done with them fast enough. More
