Faulty repair job Had the misfortune of my husband's truck breaking down on the interstate nearby. The truck had just been 'repaired' with a new fuel pump prior. So the Had the misfortune of my husband's truck breaking down on the interstate nearby. The truck had just been 'repaired' with a new fuel pump prior. So the mechanic knew that it was likely not that, but advised a new fuel pump be put in regardless. They took a week to do it, my hubs had to rent a car to get home. They charged us $910 for their expert repair and it lasted all of 3 hours. We had it towed to another Ford dealer who expertly discovered the real problem was a wire short - $200 repair. I informed Griffin Ford of the problem, who even arranged for the tow to the new dealership. But in the end they refused to pay for the tow or reimburse us for their faulty repair. I have done battle with various places trying to get my money back, but in the end it was my credit card company who helped me. I had to go through arbitration and won!!!! I'm so sorry for anyone who has to deal with them, but if your repair breaks.....do a chargeback and fight your case. Good luck! More

Very Poor communication, slow, dishonest, awful parts dept Was broke down on the interstate close to Ashburn, GA traveling from Kentucky to Florida for work. The diesel mechanic in Ashburn was off on vacation Was broke down on the interstate close to Ashburn, GA traveling from Kentucky to Florida for work. The diesel mechanic in Ashburn was off on vacation, so I called Tifton which I was told they had 3 diesel mechanics and would have be on the road by end of business the following day for a turbo failure. By quitting time the next day, I was then told it would be before lunch on the next day (Friday). By lunch time, I was then told it would be completed before quitting time. At 5, I was then told the mechanic would come in on Saturday morning and finish up because there was only a couple hours left for completion, which they are normally closed Saturday. I was also given confirmation a cashier would come in for me to pay and get back on the road. I waited at the dealer and made several trips up there to see if the mechanic ever showed up with disappointment. The mechanic finally came in to finish up on Sunday afternoon, I stopped by at this time again and asked him to contact some one for me to pay and leave, but he was not given this information so I had to wait until Monday morning when the dealership reopened to pick up my truck. When I inspected the work done, I found that my instrument cluster screen was not working, my engine oil dipstick tube was not inserted properly, my dipstick itself was bent, and my keyless entry/remote start was not operating properly. When I requested these issues be address the mechanic that performed the labor refused and the service manager had to get another mechanic to attempt the fix. I ended up using google on my phone to figure out the mechanical issues, which were a result of the mechanic leaving my batteries unhooked so long it reset all my ecu functions (which I ended up having to get fixed at my local dealer once I finally got home) When I went to check out, the parts department tried charging me full list price on all parts used. When I requested a discount being part of a business with a commercial account at my local dealership I was spoken very rude and sarcastic to, and yelled from across the parts shop by the parts counter person. I also was charged 3 times the labor hours than originally quoted for the work done. I ended up having to speak with the GM of the store for any type of resolution. If I had it all to do over again, I would have had my truck towed back to Kentucky to get the work done at my local dealer and still been money and time ahead than getting repaired at this dealer, as well as a much better attitude from my dealer. More

Sales dept is super friendly, let me borrow a vehicle to drive while my truck was in service for an extended period of time (service originally made me pay to rent a vehicle from enterprise) I would highly recommend dealing with sales and would even purchase a new vehicle from them given the opportunity, just would not return there for any service work to be performed! More
