I have had to take it back for repairs 3 times I have owned the Escape only about one month and have had it back 3 times for repairs. And I found out that a burned out headlight on this car will c I have owned the Escape only about one month and have had it back 3 times for repairs. And I found out that a burned out headlight on this car will cost me between $1450 and $2000 to replace because the design is so crazy that the front end of the car has to be taken apart to replace a Headlight. The part alone is about $1450 dealer discounted, and it took Two hours of labor in the service department to do the replacement. I don't know what they charge for labor. I did not pay anything this time, but I will be stuck with that bill when it happens again. This is unacceptable. I will not be keeping this car very long. ( previously, I averaged 11 years keeping a car ) This is more of a bad review of Ford Motor Co than of Griffin, but I feel that someone should have known about the problems with this car before I got stuck with it.
