Bought new F150 Lariet. Immediately had problems: amber " service light " coming on. Griffith Ford ran bunch of diagnostic tests, but didn't solve problem. Back to Griffith, but they wanted to keep the truck for days. No longer trusting them, I took the truck to Lockhart Motors. The problem was diagnosed as a faulty transmission module. 10,000 miles later still running fine. More

Initially, I had a very good impression of this company and of Eric, the manager who sold me the car. I even traded in my own vehicle as part of the payment and wrote a positive review about the company. and of Eric, the manager who sold me the car. This company put me in a difficult situation. I handed over my car, and to make sure Eric - who was driving it - wouldn't have any issues on the road, I left the license plates on. However, he did not remove the plates, and they, in turn, sold my car to a new buyer without taking the plates off. As a result, I received toll road charges under my name. Eric lied to me and told me that he removed the plates immediately upon arriving at the company's office. Now I am disappointed with their service, and they are telling me that this is my problem and that I have to deal with it myself. More

Terrible service. First time I had to take in the truck to the service department was told they couldn’t get to it that day (Friday) so better to come on Monday. Bring it on Monday and they still cannot get to it until Friday. They had it for another full week to complete the repairs. At no time did anyone try to help us get a rental car which our extended warranty is supposed to cover, every time we inquired we were told they did not have any cars available. 2nd time I take the truck in for the same transmission issue as before I am told that they actually have a partnership with a rental car place and once they have a work order they can cover the rental. None of this was explained the first time around. I set an appointment with the tech so it actually gets looked at the same day. Well it takes 3 days before they can look at it. Now they are evading the transmission issue and have had the car for a week only to have completed a software update. Oh and no rental car… I get put on hold every time I call , they don’t call you back. This is absolutely ridiculous More

As a long time Wimberley Resident , I need my communities assistance please. 151 days ago, I had my Ford Explorer towed to Griffith in Ford San Marcos to have a new sensor put into it. My husband got the ol assistance please. 151 days ago, I had my Ford Explorer towed to Griffith in Ford San Marcos to have a new sensor put into it. My husband got the old sensor out (with the assistance of our son who is an active duty Army large engine mechanic) but here at our home we were unable to put the new sensor into place. Since we couldn't get the new one in, we towed it from Wimberley to where we bought it brand new in 2018. My car only has 47,000 miles on it. My problem is my car is still not fixed and they have replaced so many things on my car now including the alternator, battery, (which was said to be in good condition upon their intake on March 4th) crank sensor, throttle body, reducer wheel, and more but I can't remember the names of it all. On May 22nd they said my car was back jumped. They are trying to say that had happened while in our possession before being towed there. Which is simply untrue. The bill now sits at $7,000 and they said we need a whole new PCM. When I didnt agree with what they are wanting to charge me, I was asked what I thought was a fair price to pay. I am asking all of you, if anyone knows Chris Griffith, owner of Griffith Ford, or a way to let him know that for the last 5 months I have been leaving him a message at the dealership every week. He hasn't returned my calls so maybe he isn't getting the messages. The receptionist always alpologizes and lets me know that he is a very busy man. Im sure he would assist if he knew I was trying to reach him, given the fact he was there to shake my hand when I wrote him a personal check for both of my new cars that I have bought from him and now he won't return my call. Let him know that this Grandma, mother of five, bought my car new from him and it only has 47,000 miles and I would like him to stand by a car he sold to me. More

The finance manager lied through his teeth to me about how long I was financing and what my extended warranty covered just so I would get it so he would get his commission. I tried to call back a few weeks later after I noticed what he did and the manager there told me he was fired for doing this to several people and that I was xxxx out of luck. Its been a year and I still get sick thinking about this place and how they treat first time buyers. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! More

Dealership management and attention to doing right is the worst I've experienced buying a new vehicle. Financial paperwork was not done with correct numbers (higher than agreed to), which says they were tryi worst I've experienced buying a new vehicle. Delivery of the vehicle was disappointing; it was not clean or in new shape, more like a used vehicle that was just taken in on trade. Presistent on keeping the dealer add-ons in the deal, but did not complete all the add-ons. Be careful with this dealership; there are better ones. I would look into how this dealership does business if I were Ford. More

Please people let’s get together at the Griffith Ford San Marcos bcz there was a break in at the property and it was a technician that Ford had hired. Truck had been at that dealership for 6 months bcz they figure out what was wrong with it and we get a letter stating that some vehicles were broken into but they won’t pay for fixing it. Like who does that?? We all need to get together and show up at the dealership bcz the whole county needs to know about this crap. More

I "purchased" a new Ford from this dealership. It "was on their other lot". It was to be delivered the next day. About 6PM the next day when I hadn't seen or hear from them, I called and was told It "was on their other lot". It was to be delivered the next day. About 6PM the next day when I hadn't seen or hear from them, I called and was told the car wasn't on their lot. They couldn't find it. When they didn't find it for a week, I asked if I could switch to a car the could find. I was told no. Since Texas law saws you can undo the sale up to 3 days afterwards, I told them I wanted to undo the sale and get my trade back. I was told I would have to pay $9000 on my tradein as it was already sold. Ultimately, I had to call my bank and they agreed to decline the payoff and hold the title. I went back to the dealership and again told them I wanted my trade-in back. They again told me it was sold and out being delivered. That was a lie because I had driven around back and my trade-in was there. Loudly in front of all their other customers, I said "So you sold a car without a title?" and loudly said that my bank was refusing the payoff and keeping the title. They said they would "try to get it back". I waited and they said they already shredded the old plates. Several hours later, they "found" the plates. When they finally brought the car up from behind the building and gave me my keys, I discovered they had drained the gas tank. I barely made it to the nearest gas station. After I filled it up, I drove to Covert Ford in Austin and traded it in for a similar car. I saved thousands of dollars by buying at Covert. More
