My recent service experience did not meet my expectations, primarily due to the customer service. As a walk-in customer, I was greeted but was not provided with any instructions regarding the expectations, primarily due to the customer service. As a walk-in customer, I was greeted but was not provided with any instructions regarding the check-in process or expected wait time, leaving me unsure of what to do next. The manager assisted me after I entered and asked whether I would be waiting or if someone would be picking me up. In the past, I have been provided with a courtesy vehicle, which later changed to an Uber service. During this visit, I was informed that transportation was limited to a one-way ride. When I asked about the change, the manager explained that providing transportation was costing the dealership a significant amount of money. While I understand that policies and costs can change, I did not feel that explanation was appropriate in a customer interaction. As a long-time customer who regularly spends between $200 and $500 or more on vehicle maintenance, I believe the conversation should have focused on the current policy rather than the dealership’s expenses. Many customers rely on transportation options because they are working professionals, and this service is an important part of the overall customer experience. I do want to recognize my technician, who provided good service overall. The only issue was that my rear windshield wiper was not replaced as expected. More
