Wow, the Group 1 Chevrolet Team in Spring is a dealership and service center that sets the standard for others to emulate, if possible. The online reservation process for my 25000 service was flawless. Oilch and service center that sets the standard for others to emulate, if possible. The online reservation process for my 25000 service was flawless. Oilchange, tire rotation and wheel alignment were all performed quiand professionally while I relaxed in the waiting room enjoying a double latte and a cappuccino. William kept me fully informed of the progress of the wok that was performed. I could not be happier with the service provided and the reasonable pricing for this work. More
I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler from Group 1 Chevrolet in Houston this past Saturday. I live over an hour away and couldn’t inspect the vehicle in person before purchase due to work, so I relied on the de in Houston this past Saturday. I live over an hour away and couldn’t inspect the vehicle in person before purchase due to work, so I relied on the dealership’s assurances that the vehicle was in good condition. I was also told about Group 1’s advertised 3-day / 250-mile return policy for pre-owned vehicles. I picked up the Jeep the following Saturday after being told a TPMS sensor and other minor items were repaired. At delivery, the salesman stated the tire pressure light was still on because they “didn’t have time to reset it” and that it would turn off after driving. Within 25 miles of leaving the dealership, the TPMS light remained on, the ABS light began coming on intermittently, and the check engine light turned on and stayed on. When I arrived home and inspected the Jeep myself, I discovered extensive rust throughout the undercarriage and frame — including deep corrosion and holes in structural frame components and heavy rust on suspension mounting points. These are not cosmetic issues; they are structural safety concerns that would have been clearly visible during any lift inspection. I contacted the salesman immediately to ask about the advertised return policy. He denied that such a policy existed and referred me to a manager. The manager later stated all sales were final but offered to place me on a service standby list. When I explained the frame rust, he stated they were unaware of it but also confirmed their dealership performed the safety inspection. He also stated they replaced brakes and a wheel speed sensor — meaning the vehicle had been on a lift, where this rust would have been obvious. I am posting this review to warn other buyers. I purchased from a large dealership expecting honesty and proper safety oversight. Instead, I was sold a vehicle with severe frame corrosion and unresolved warning lights immediately after leaving the lot. I can attach photos of the rust and incomplete mechanical work upon request. Buyer beware. More
