Hi George Thanks for the mail. As a business owner myself I appreciate and understand the importance of running a customer service centric business and for positive feedback /word of mouth from customers. I had spoken with Wes at great length and because of his help was literally hours away from buying the FX 37 on your lot, but then a dealer in Miami gave me a deal that I just couldn't pass up. Based on the experience with Wes I was planning to update the review, but he did promise me that he was refunding me the $179.99 I paid to have the car inspected (I still have the mail) - yet when I followed up with him asking him when the check was going out and if he was going to honor his word, he did not respond. So my updated review was on hold pending his response. At first, when he didn't respond, I intended to update the review with the details about his insuring me the $179.99 was coming (and then didn't), but instead I chose to just leave this review as is. Dom, Thanks for updating me. I did look into the refund and yes Wes did make the request but a check was never cut as an oversight in my accounting office. I have had the check cut and I signed it today so it will be in the mail tomorrow. I apologize for the delay. I too agree that his choice of language was inappropriate, regardless of his intent. Mr. Grubbs, From one businessman to another, I respect your attempt to contact me and admire your responses to address the issue at hand. However, that being said, I do not believe for one minute that I took the comment that was made out of context, nor do I believe the comment was mix up of words by your salesman meant to be something different and that I took it wrong. From your email, I think you have agreed with me on that. Like I stated, there is one and only one way that a comment of that nature could be interpreted. It was very clear and worse it was highly insulting and feel it was meant to be just that. Again, Mr. Grubbs, I am sure you are an honorable man and run an honorable business.
