After researching your comments and reviewing your car purchase, I find that this car was in fact a 2004 grand prix and was sold to you "as is"? At a low price to reflect that. It did have a 85 point check and did not pass, that is why it was sold "as is". Your brother was the one who wanted the car anyway. (Regardless of the condition.) You kept the car for one whole week and we still took it back from you, at no expense to you at all, which is unheard of in the car business. It did not have a 3 month warranty as you claim and you or your brother signed the "as is" buy log that was posted in the window of the car when it was for sale on our lot. The car was to come with a 3 month warranty and the manager assured me there was no problems with the car. I took the car to a Pontiac dealership and they told me and I quote," You should not drive this car because it has a massive oil leak on the valve cover which is dripping on the exhaust manifold and could cause a fire". Is this not considered part of the 85 point inspection? Sold as is was right but selling as a liability is not part of the, as is special. Am I correct? I myself always buy new cars but true colors come out when the car is worth a lot less. Why even do an 85 point inspection when this problem was overlooked?
