Replacement of car keys I had to replace both of my car keys for my 2015 Impala, I am not sure why they do not last longer than a few years. My experience with parts dept was I had to replace both of my car keys for my 2015 Impala, I am not sure why they do not last longer than a few years. My experience with parts dept was OK. I ordered my keys and paid for them. The person I talked to just said your keys will be in Thurs or Friday. I had to ask about having the keys programmed. When I was called on Monday to say they here, I still had to ask about programming the keys. I was transferred to service to setup an appointment. When complete then I was charged more money for programming. The parts dept needs to tell you about the programming and an extra charge for programming. or refer you to service to explain the process. Some people do know to ask those questions. They would have pickup the keys and tried to use them. A little more customer service would not hurt. More

Service writer, after short discussion, worked me in without any issues and little wait time. That won't happen often in this day and time. They were very obliging. More
