Trevor was our salesperson and offered us several vehicles in our price range, with the amenities that we were looking for and was knowledgeable about the vehicles and the respective options. We had a long day with a newborn, and Trevor was the most considerate and helpful salesperson we could have had. He offered us his own refreshments, helped us with coordinating how to move our vehicle back home, and even followed up with us to make sure we were doing ok. I would highly recommend this dealership and Trevor in particular to anyone in the market for a new car. Be ready to be blown away by how wonderful your experience is!!! More

I am not much of a complainer; I don’t sent food back at restaurants, I don’t buy and return things, etc. I do feel compelled to review Gunther Kia’s present management. I am a long time Gunther customer. I have had only good experiences with purchasing, leasing, and service from Gunther Mazda and VW. I presently lease a Gunther VW. It was my opinion, that Gunther is a first class car dealer, with excellent customer service. Gunther was always my first choice for new cars. At this time, I cannot recommend Gunther Kia. For details, see below: I just leased a Kia from Gunther. I had been shopping for a new suv, and the Gunther salesman called and said he could make the deal I wanted. During the lease negotiations, when the Manager, Josh got involved, he was brash, and became rude, but I laughed it off, figuring this was his negotiating style. Upon delivery, the “NEW” car had 100 miles on it, and a few issues, including a scratch and an unfinished paint repair on the front passenger door, and a scraped pebble guard. My first reaction was to not accept the car, but the salesman assured me that PROPER repairs would be made, and he wrote so on a repair sheet. I agreed to the repairs, after all, this was Gunther, not some used car lot. I asked to make sure they would have the loaner car ready, while the car is being repaired. I was surprised to hear that a loaner was not needed, and this repair would take 25 minutes. I explained that in my opinion, a PROPER repair could not be done in minutes, and would take 1- 2 days. I was assured the repair would be PROPER, and take just 25 minutes. Again, this is Gunther, so we agreed that my wife would bring the car in for repair. My wife waited over 1 hour for the car. They had sanded and buffed the previous clear coat repair, replaced a pebble guard (incorrectly), but they needed to order the paint for the scratch, which would take more work than they had expected. When she commented on the improper pebble guard installation, she was told that she was being “picky”. When she reminded them (as she should have) that this is a “NEW” car, she was told that they would not repair it again. She felt they were rude and condescending, and trying to intimidate her. I received no call back regarding the paint, so I followed up, and called to find out if the “paint” they ordered came in. I was told it had not. When the “paint” did come in, I scheduled an appointment, and again I asked that the loaner car be made ready. Again, I was told a loaner is not necessary, and that it would be ready in ½ hour. My wife brought the car in, and 1 ½ hours later, when they brought the car out, my wife told them it looked worse. They again said she was making a big deal, and insisted that this is all they would do. I was stunned to hear that they had used touch up paint on the scratch on a “NEW” car. I explained by phone to them, that this is a “NEW” car, and I expect a proper repair. When they again insisted this was all they would do, I had the salesman turn me over to the manager, Josh. I attempted to explain that all I wanted was a proper delivery of a new car, in new car condition, but before I could get the words out, he again attempted intimidation, with his brash, rude attitude. I was again stunned that a representative for Gunther would treat a customer this way. I was steadfast in my demands, and it was agreed that Gunther would repair the door properly. I was then contacted by the salesman, saying, to my surprise, that the company doing the repairs would contact me. I explained that I expect Gunther to repair and warranty the repair, not an outside vendor. I was told this was at the discretion of the manager. I explained that I expect a written warranty from Gunther, and was told that this should not be a problem. My wife brought the car in; it was strange that there was no repair order paperwork, and nothing to sign. She was given a loaner car, again with no paperwork or signature. I was contacted the next day that the car would be ready. I asked that they have the Gunther service order and warranty ready when my wife picks up the car. On her way to pick up the car, my wife called, to make sure the service order and warranty were prepared, and ready for pickup; she was assured they were ready. When she arrived, she examined the car, and gave the loaner keys back to the another manager. She asked for the Gunther paperwork, and was then told there would be no service order and no warranty from Gunther. They had hired outside vendor, rather than have their factory certified technicians do the repair, and we could have a copy of the invoice from the vendor. She explained that we expect Gunther to warranty the repair, not an unknown vendor; she was told that “was not going to happen”. This is my “NEW” car that they had hired a vendor to fix, but wanted no part of guarantying the work. It all seems so underhanded, so unscrupulous, so not in keeping with Gunther motors. She put me on the phone with the other manager, and when I explained the situation, he became loud and hostile. I told my wife to take the loaner car and leave; she did. I went back and forth by phone with the salesman as a go-between, and with the other manager who remained hostile and insistent that Gunther would not warranty the repairs, and told me to return “his” loaner. The next day the manager Josh called me and said he understands there is a problem that I did not return the loaner. I reminded him that that loaner is a small part of the problem. He said if there was a problem, I should have called him. I reminded him he knew I that I was not at all happy about having to fight with them to deliver my “new” car in “new” condition, and not happy with the way my wife was treated, the way I was treated. He quickly cut me off, and again set out to intimidate with his brash, rude demeanor. I tried to explain that I felt like I was dealing with a fly by night used car lot, not Gunther Motors. He cut me off again, and told me how I had been the rude one. I told him that I had nothing more to say, and that I had emailed and left a voice mail for Mr. Gunther, and will look to Mr. Gunther for a resolution. Josh seemed even more upset, but then agreed to personally give me a written warranty for the work. I asked him to text me a copy so I could see the warranty in writing. He refused and threatened that if I don’t return the loaner by noon, he would report the car stolen, and would have my car towed. By this time I was not at all surprised by his rudeness, and attempts at intimidation. I would go meet him face to face, and see if he would keep his word. I went to Gunther Kia, and asked to see him. The salesman came running out and said he would handle things. He presented me with a written warranty, which they had refused for 2 days. He said he needed to inspect the loaner car, then came back and said the manager wants the car back with a full tank (it was more than 3/4 full). I took out $20, and told the salesman he can give it to the Josh, and it would more than cover the gas. The salesman refused, and said he had instructions from the Josh that the tank needed to be full. I filled the tank (it took $5) and gave him the car back. The salesman gave me the keys to my car. The car was dirty (Gunther has always washed the cars after service), but the repair looked ok. What would appear to me to be the simple, routine task of delivering a “new” car in “new” condition went terribly wrong. The current management was unable to deal ethically, professionally, courteously, and above board with a simple repair. At this point, I feel that Gunther Kia acted more like an unscrupulous used car lot, that the professional first rate car dealership that I have come to trust and respect. I would not recommend Gunther Kia, at this time. P.S. Part of the agreement with the salesman was that Gunther would take the car coming off lease, and take care of the $350 disposition fee. When signing the lease, the salesman said he did not recall that. I agreed to pay $175, and they agreed to pay $175. I paid Gunther my portion ($175) on my credit card. They turned in my car, but only paid $175 of the $350 disposition fee, leaving my account with a $175 balance. I made several requests to have them pay the balance, with no results. I was then told that they would give me a check for $175; my follow up requests were ignored. I have had the $175 charge reverse on my card. More

Isaac really knows his stuff, he's a good listener (i.e., he won't be pushing you into something you don't want) and he seems like a really nice guy that anyone would be happy to do business with. As far as the car goes, we were looking at a number of options and weren't even that familiar with the Kia. But after briefly renting one, and loving it, we added Kia to our check-out list. It won hands down. Very happy with it! Great experience all around. Thank you Isaac! More

My wife and I were on the search to trade our Mazda in which we were greatly upside down on. My wife reached out to Maylene who works at Gunther Kia. Maylene showed us around the dealership and had us sit down with Christian. We told Christian our concerns and exactly what we wanted. We have tried to trade in the Mazda in the past and could not find a nice affordable vehicle because of how badly we were upside down. Christian worked with us and showed us numerous vehicles. He was patient and had answers to all of our questions. Because of Maylene and Christian we were able to leave in a 2017 Kia Cadenza which exceeded our expectations. We weren't pushed into any vehicle. Instead, we were shown exactly what we wanted and even given options for better vehicles within our price range. We beyond recommend both Christian and Maylene! They were friendly and answered any questions my husband and I had. When buying used you sometimes have to settle on “as-is” conditions that you wouldn’t normally choose, but they were more than helpful about making sure everything was in working order and even fixing some cosmetic damages. Certified used cars? Update to this review...manager Josh took interest in my issue, contacted me and after some back and forth communications, solved the issue completely Update to this review...manager Josh took interest in my issue, contacted me and after some back and forth communications, solved the issue completely. I now have my "tire emergency package" Thank you Josh ?. More dealer employees should behave like this man. Bought a used KIA SOUL from them..."certified". I was told that newer vehicles do not bring spare tires. Had the car for months. Tire pressure went down. Vehicle has to bring a spare "package"(lug wrench, air compressor....). Mine has nothing in the trunk. No spare(of course) and NO AIR COMPRESSOR. For a dealer to sell vehicles with the "certified" title on them, they really have guts. If they check the car and sell it WITHOUT the items it has to bring, what do they certify? More
