Held Hostage I went in to Gunther Kia with a specific vehicle in mind and a specific monthly payment. I was up front with what I was looking for. He did the best he could and processed me as quickly as he could. I asked repeatedly throughout the process if they had determined if they could match my payment requirement, and was given a wait and see answer. When I finally got to the credit department, the monthly payment was $64 higher than I had stated was my upper limit, the interest rate was almost 3% above what I had been pre-approved for with my credit union, and they had added add'l coverage which I had not okayed. This was annoying, but I still didn't have a problem yet. I told him where I needed to be to close the deal and that it was a matter of budget, not preference. He left to talk to a manager three different times and still couldn't get where I needed to be. It was annoying, but still wouldn't have been a big deal. I told the finance guy to unwind the deal and get me my keys. He left and came back with another offer that still wasn't what I needed to meet my budget. I told him that I was no longer looking to purchase a vehicle, I wanted to go home, and if I didn't have my keys in ten minutes I would cause a scene. The finance guy left again and came back with another guy who was going to make everything right. He was obnoxious like only a truly self-important salesman can be. He immediately fixated on the fact that my wife wouldn't shake his hand. (She was completely fed up and ready to go as well.) Suddenly, the entire conversation had nothing to do with buying a car and was about how rude we were. He started on a tirade about how we were insulting him and not giving him a chance to help him. When he finally asked if we wanted to buy a car or not, I replied that I didn't want to buy a car. I just wanted to go home. I wanted my keys and I didn't like being held hostage. He replied that we weren't being held hostage, to which responded by again asking for my keys. He started another tirade about how we were insulting him and not giving him a chance to help us. At this point, I had had enough. I told him that every word out of his mouth was just making the situation worse and made me feel like putting him through the wall. Not the best response, I know, but this guy was really pushing my buttons. At this point, he tossed us out of the dealership, still without my keys, and started another tirade about how rude we were. At that point, it was actually true at least once. the worst part of the whole thing is that if he hadn't gotten involved, I would have come back on Monday with the information for my credit union loan and bought the car. More

Amazing experience! The nicest car salesman and finance guy I've ever encountered, the best car buying experience ever. I had scheduled a test drive for three cars, but The nicest car salesman and finance guy I've ever encountered, the best car buying experience ever. I had scheduled a test drive for three cars, but as soon as I got on the Kia Optima hybrid, I knew this was my car! But Chris was ready to let me try the other two cars. Once we started the paperwork, it was super simple and fast! I was there two hours, which in the past, all other dealers would take hours and hours! Then it was to financing with Kirk. Nicest finacing guy ever! He helped me work through options based on my credit score, and when we finished, the car was ready for me to take home. I received three years free service, wow! I can't wait to get my next car there! Thank you Chris and Kirk for all your help and dedication to make my experience an amazing one! More

very knowledgeable & great service i dealt with Christian Benzan as the sales person. He was honest & upfront about everything. I was originally looking at a dealership near my house, b i dealt with Christian Benzan as the sales person. He was honest & upfront about everything. I was originally looking at a dealership near my house, but they made promises that they weren't able to keep. I went back to Christian & am happy i did. Also the finance manager Pablo Villaverde was very informative & patient, who was able to get me a good rate- no pressure. A few days later i returned to get front windows tinted & had a few questions. Christian was off so Garfield Simpson helped me. He was so caring & explained everything, he was a breath of fresh air. Everyone i dealt with at this Kia dealership couldn't have been any nicer & honest!!! Definitely will recommend to friends :) More
