I received a call that the repair is needed and how much. I must say that to charge soooo much for parts and labor whem there are a lot of high quality vehicles out in the market now at much lower maintenance expenses is very wrong. The service applied the diagnostic charge towards the repair but that was it. On a $2200 repair the only help that was extended to a valued customer, with a 2200$ repair was the already credited diagnostic charge. This was the second time having a repair there. The service is ok. Not perfect but i could recommend it to someone. But VW prices are way to high and then there is no help by the servicer or the dealership. My next car may or may not be a VW because of how much it is to have anything serviced, but mainly because there is no consideration of how high tbe prices are. Hope that helped.
