My Experience with VW of Delray Beach, at 2401 Federal Highway On April 13, 2014 I acquired a new VW Jetta along with 8 Accessory/Service O My Experience with VW of Delray Beach, at 2401 Federal Highway On April 13, 2014 I acquired a new VW Jetta along with 8 Accessory/Service Options, one of which was a $799.00 rear-view backup camera, from the VW dealership at 2401 N.Federal Highway, Delray Beach, FL. Early October, 2017 I took my Jetta into my VW Dealership for its annual oil change/tire rotation and to address a number of serious electrical system issues: #1) all 4 windows were inoperable, wouldn’t go up or down; #2) blown lighter fuse, rendering useless my ability to power my navigational Garmin unit or iPhone charger, #3) a light display on my dashboard indicating my airbag status was: OFF. Lastly, #4) the sudden loss of my (purchased-for $799.00) backup camera display on my radio screen. After more than a week’s time (without so much as a loaner vehicle) the only thing they fixed was the windows. It’s necessary to point out here, that they performed, and charged me for a 30,000-mile inspection, which I DID NOT want and was NOT contacted for approval because I only had 7000 miles on it. A few days later I returned to my dealership to talk to Service Manager, Vasil Blagoev, about everything that was NOT serviced: the air bag issue, the blown lighter fuse, and the backup camera. I offered to pay out of pocket for the repairs, explaining that I have severe nerve damage to my spinal column making turning backward dangerous to me and who may be in back of me. He informed me they WON’T be servicing my Jetta since the dealership changed hands since 2014...which begs the question of why they saw fit to fix the window issue! More

However, I am happy to say that I just had my 2009 Jetta in for repairs today at Gunther Delray. Vasil Blagoev and his service team were excellent. It was truly a pleasure dealing with them. You can be sure I will return to GUNTHER VOLKSWAGEN DELRAY……..and I will also share this experience with Family, friends and business associates. More
