2019 Vehicle Stopped Working after 1 Week I purchased a VW Jetta on 2/12/2019 and by 2/23/2019 it stopped functioning. The car would not go faster than 40 mph no matter how hard I hit the gas I purchased a VW Jetta on 2/12/2019 and by 2/23/2019 it stopped functioning. The car would not go faster than 40 mph no matter how hard I hit the gas and an EPC warning light came on right before I got on the Turnpike. The vehicle has been in the service center since Saturday, 2/23/19. I spoke to the service adviser yesterday and he said they are still trying to figure out what went wrong.He said a number of codes came up and they suspect it may be the fuel system because the car takes about 5 seconds to start and it is shaky. Today he called back and said the high pressure fuel pump needs to be replaced and hopefully that will fix the issue. I Googled this and realized that VW has a known issue concerning the high pressure fuel pump that resulted in a major recall in 2017. This is a 2019 car and the issue is clearly still persistent. This is highly concerning and I have contacted many people at Gunther for response on how to undo my deal and no one has gotten back to me. More

probably not recommend I left my car for a tire rotation. When they called back, they said it would be ready within an hour. The guy was having lunch and by the way the paperwork had been turned in earlier but no one bothered to let me know. No concern for the customer. More
