I had an amazing experience with Alonzo as my salesman, but that ended quickly with Mark(finance) and Briana’s (title) failure to adequately do their job. Mark spoke over me and raised his voice several times to me during my transaction. He was upset I was denying gap coverage and his response was to yell “You listen to me”. And when I brought to his attention that they have the incorrect name, “ Welp, looks like you’re in a pickle” chuckling. Frankly I’ve never been to an establishment that the audacity to think that type of behavior was professional. They put my vehicle under the wrong business name and yet over 100 days later I still do not have it corrected nor have my tags and registration as promised now for months. I had to twist their arm to get a bill of sale as I was provided absolutely nothing besides a temporary 90 day registration. Though I paid for them to provide my plates I had to purchased temporary 30 day tags to hopefully buy myself sometime to receive them from them at some point. Unfortunately I would not know because it’s been a week since they’ve spoken to me, not returning emails nor multiple voicemails left. I understand mistakes are made but not once but at least on five different notable occasions I’ve been lied to. If I could return the car and move on I would, unfortunately this nightmare continues. Exceptional does not even cover it! We drove from MN on our way to MI. On our way out of the hotel parking lot at 6 am, our Grand Caravan started to sputter and we couldn't drive it. We tried for the highway realizing we wouldn't make it. We pulled into the parking lot and waited for the service department to open. Your Service Manager Doug is a true angel! The first thing he did was empathize that we were essentially stranded. We told him what was going on. He looked at us, said "calm down I am going to take care of you and get you on your way". And he did! He got us in first, and 1.5 hours later we were on our way to MI. Incredible. If this had happened at rush hour, in Chicago on the side of the road it would have been so bad. It was a ignition coil, and the maintenance tune up and clean out that we should have been taking care of over the last 10 years. This Grand Caravan has been the best vehicle we have ever bought. I am so sad they they are not being made anymore. Doug is a such a FABULOUS guy. We are still amazed at what he did for us. Doug's attention to us as PEOPLE is something all service managers should aspire to. He is the biggest asset you have in your dealership. He literally saved us that day. People like Doug are few and far between and you are lucky to have him representing your company. As a business owner myself, it's almost impossible to find people who care so much about your customers and your business and do their best. Doug could not have don't anything else to help us that day. What a great person. More
Just bought my 4TH car from Gurnee CDJR. The sales Dept. is the Best in the Lake County Area. Had a small issue with my 2023 Dodge and Doug in service was Very helpful with my problem.
