I purchased a used 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from H&K Chevrolet, and although the sales process was pretty smooth, I would not recommend buying from this dealer without inspecting the vehicle first hand. I purchased a Jeep from them without seeing it in person via internet sale, and unfortunately it arrived with a few issues. The first thing I noticed when it arrived was that the leather dashboard was seriously damaged. It had shrunk from sitting in the sun and the leather was pulling away and bubbling up. I contacted H&K about this and they quickly offered me $500 for the trouble, which tells me they were well aware of the damage. Unfortunately, I have since gotten several estimates to repair this, and I am told the only way to fix it is to replace the dashboard at a cost of $8000 installed. Not $500, but 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! Every time I get in the car and see this damage, my blood starts to boil. Also worth noting when I went back and looked at the pictures and videos they sent me of the car before the purchase there is no direct shot of the dashboard which may have been intentional. Secondly, I noticed that the driver’s door had been repainted as there is some dripping clearcoat and a rough edge on the door. I can’t say for sure if they were aware of this, but it is frustrating nonetheless. More
