Overall the experience was good. The service coordinator is great, however actually getting the service done is another story. I had a flashing check engine light and my car was in limp mod. I couldn't drive it faster than 2300 rpm, getting the service done is another story. I had a flashing check engine light and my car was in limp mod. I couldn't drive it faster than 2300 rpm, but had to wait two weeks for an appointment. They couldn't get me in right away. So I had another mechanic do a computer diagnostic for me . My knock sensor was bad so they replaced it, then I needed to have the software update done. I had to go to the dealer for that. So I went for my appointment, which was two weeks later and was told I had to leave my car three days, because there were people ahead of me who were still waiting to have their cars seen. That was a Thursday morning, and of course they aren't open on Saturday and Sunday. The dealer was only supposed to do a diagnostic, which they finally did on the following Wednesday, 7 days after I took it in. Turned out I only needed the software update for the new knock sensor. Very disappointed that they couldn't have done the diagnostic test the first or second day and not make me be without my car for 7 days. It doesn't take very long to do a diagnostic. Haddad Kia needs to hire more people or not overbook. More

The women in the front of service department is about the only thing that I was happy with. Replacement of belts, hoses, and brakes were all recommended for replacement on pickup paperwork however in the mon only thing that I was happy with. Replacement of belts, hoses, and brakes were all recommended for replacement on pickup paperwork however in the month that the service department had my vehicle no recommendation was made to me. The car looked like it had sat for the whole month, covered in dirt completely filthy. When I got the car back I had to reinstall the fuse box cover as it was not put back on. I also had to fix the weatherstripping around the chrome trim that I paid to have replaced. When I drove the car off the lot the AC was blowing straight hot air, which was not one of the problems that I took it in for. I turned around and brought it back. The service manager said the radiator replacement has nothing to do with the AC but they would look at it. After about 2 hours I had to call back to get an update. When I called the service manager said all he did was drive it to the back and it started working... 2 hours? 2 hours to drive it around back and I had to call to check on it instead of someone calling me. Hopefully I don't breakdown in the Bakersfield area again. With all that said the lady's working in the front office of the service area were polite and did a great job. More
