Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Virginia Beach

22 May 2011 I purchased a "used" Dodge Ram 1500 truck with 55,000 miles. Dealership gave me a 30 day warranty on the truck. I drove the truck less than 1,000 miles over the next 30 days. On the 3 truck with 55,000 miles. Dealership gave me a 30 day warranty on the truck. I drove the truck less than 1,000 miles over the next 30 days. On the 37th day after my purchase I had to pay over $500 to have the front driver side wheel bearing replaced while traveling over 700 miles for the July 4th holiday. Because this happened while traveling I had no choice but to pay for the repair to be able to get back home. The dealership states they have a XXX point inspection they perform on all vehicles before they put it on their lot for sale. Apparently that's not the case or they would have caught the driver wheel bearing and when I questioned them about their used car inspection process and asked them to help defray some of the cost for the wheel bearing they told me they could not help. They stated had I brought the vehicle to them for the repair they would have fixed it for "Free". I guess after you purchase a vehicle from Hall you shouldn't drive very far away just in case you have problems with the vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

No notes are on the moble site but he showed me the full website where it is. Price I was quoted was close to what it was on line anyway. In the finance office I was given the paperwork and told that the sales manager gave me 500.00 more in rebates. Then I pointed out that the price I was quoted to pay had not changed. Seemed the sales manager kept the price, added to the rebates so it would look better and raised the starting price in hope that I would just be happy with the bigger rebate. It took 15 mins of explaining this with both papers in front or the finance guy to understand that the two were different So what started out to be a no hassle price turned into a hassle and the numbers game on the price seemed a salesmans shady attempt at making the costumer not check numbers and just be happy they "found" more rebates. If I go back you can bet I will watch the numbers again. More

The sale was easy and quick. The sales associates were all nice and friendly. Very outgoing staff. The finance manager was polite, detailed and descriptive.
