Nasty attitudes, poor service I had a prepaid service plan and had my car serviced here one time, in May 2019. I had 17k miles at the time. Apparently rather than do the 10k serv I had a prepaid service plan and had my car serviced here one time, in May 2019. I had 17k miles at the time. Apparently rather than do the 10k service, they did the 20k service was early. When I called to schedule next service, I was told I had one prepaid service remaining. Had to reschedule and was again told it was the last prepaid service. When I brought it in, I was told by Ginny that there was no service remaining and they had it scheduled for an oil change that I would have to pay for. When I tried to explain the situation she was dismissive and basically said too bad. I left the car and called the manager. He called back 3 hours later, after my car was already ready to pick up. When I spoke with the manager, he was incredibly rude. He basically told me that if I didn't like what Ginny had to say, I didn't have to leave my car. He actually told me "You could have took your car and left, correct?". When I returned to pick up my car, Ginny was on the phone with another customer giving then a similar attitude and told them "well next time maybe you ought to plan your car service ahead of time when you have something going on instead if waiting until the last minute." While I certainly would not have waited and gone out of my way to pay $80 for an oil change, I was far more upset with the manner I was spoken to by Ginny and Mike than the cost. More

From my first Golf in 1987 to current Golf R in 2019, Hamilton VW has been the dealer of choice, superb, high quality work, done right, done quick, and now with superbly crafted BAGELS, filled with fine creme cheese, cut in half, either the sesame? seed, or Cinnamon Raisin , ooooggggaaaahhh, turns the waiting area in to a French cafe' (or Jewish Deli) ? looking out over the vast SEA of VW's in the lot, an ocean of mystical colors, and the odd tourist, Burnt Umber, must be the fat American tourist on the Rivera .......the STAFF at Hamilton at all levels have got it right. Makes the superb, Golf R (BLACK of course) not just a great car, but the complete VW perfect experience...why go anywhere else? More
