This is the 3rd new vehicle in a row I have purchased from Hammonasset Ford and Mike Timmons (a truck, folled by a car, and recently a truck). As an example, in my most recent case, I wanted one of ther last of the Ford Ranger pickups. Mike Timmons went out of his way to find me exactly the truck I wanted, equipped it as desired, got me a terrific price (a $5,500 incentive from Ford on this particular truck! - YIKES), kept me informed every step of the way, and made the deal happen to my total satisfaction. Finally, I have to also pay a compliment to Rodney, who arranges financing. He was able to go out and find a terrific rate (2.03% for 60 months), which was the lowest I found anywhere. I traded in my old car for a new Ford Focus at Hammonasset. I visited a couple of dealers in the area, and also had my trade-in appraised at CarMax. My experience in terms of salespeople was hon Hammonasset. I visited a couple of dealers in the area, and also had my trade-in appraised at CarMax. My experience in terms of salespeople was honestly good at several area dealers including Hammonasset, but Hammonasset Ford went the extra mile to give me a good price on the Focus and a reasonable value for my trade in. In fact, they offered me quite a bit more than CarMax. My salesman, James Filley, was low key for a sales guy and let me take a couple of extended test drives without an issue. I haven't had service on the Focus yet, but my wife brings her Lincoln there and the service has usually been good. I did not finance the car so I can't speak about that aspect of the dealership, but overall my experience has been great so far. More
