Worst Parts & Service support Bought new Focus ST in 2017, great experience with sales. Their parts and service department is some of the worst unprofessional service I've seen. Bought new Focus ST in 2017, great experience with sales. Their parts and service department is some of the worst unprofessional service I've seen. I ordered plastic fog light housing for passenger side. They mistakenly gave me the drivers. No problem, so I went to swap. I understand part number is different due to orientation of holes. They told me I had difference of over half what was originally paid. This makes completely no sense and just a way for hammonasset to bring in more money. I've now re ordered from Monaco Ford for same price I paid initially. I will be buying another new car beginning 2021 and it will not be from hammonasset. I am also going elsewhere now for my maintenance. Justin More

Service department is lacking.. Tried to call and schedule service for my car. All you can get is an answering machine. No one ever returns the call. I scheduled service on-line and specifically ask for a return call to confirm the appointment. No one ever returns the call. Upon arrival at the scheduled date, ask to speak with the manager to let them know that they have communication issues as the scheduler does not return calls. Manager was argumentative and very unprofessional. Basically refused to service the car due to letting know that the scheduler does not return calls. Long story short - called Branford Ford, spoke with a service writer (Nick) who was happy to see the car the same day and fixed the warrantee issue. A+ service! Remember you have choices where to bring your car and there are way better choices than Hammonasset Ford. Think of Branford Ford, Whaling City Ford, Saybrook Ford, Dowling Ford, Tasca Ford, Hoffman Ford or others. Even Goodyear, Firestone, Midas, or others are better choices. If they cant provide good service why would you want to buy a car from them? More

I went to several dealerships to find a Ford Transit Connect Wagon. We chose the Ford Escape because it had some nice features that the other one did not and we really liked our salesman, Dan. Even though he was new to the car selling scene he was very knowledgable and helpful in the process. We have only had our car a little over a month and Dan has been very diligent in calling periodically and asking us how we like our car and if there are any questions or concerns we might have. Only suggestion we have for the dealership is that the service waiting room could be a little more inviting. Otherwise, all went well. More
