We greatly appreciated the quick service and attention to detail. When we picked up our new car, the transaction was handled immediately. An introduction to the service manager made us feel welcome to brin detail. When we picked up our new car, the transaction was handled immediately. Our sales representative CherylAnn, provided an explanation of the electronics and we left the dealership knowing how to effectively use the navigation, sync and radio. The business manager who handled the financial aspects of the purchase was well organized, knowledgeable and got us through the multiple signatures without fanfare and delay. We usually buy a new car every 3 years and have been loyal Volkswagen owners for many many years. This time we decided to take a chance on Ford for its "up to date" technology, environmentally friendly design and superior gas mileage. Also we preferred to buy American and Ford did not count on the U.S. taxpayer to weather a poor economy. So far, it looks like a great decision! More

That call got us in the door because we were at our area dealers in Milford & Hamden and then drove over 40 minutes to get up to Madison. I always do my homework before I buy new cars and they gave me the best deal out of all the area Ford Dealers (I'm convinced of that). James Filley was our sales consultant and he was knowledgable and respectful and everything you would expect out of a sales consultant. It is no shock to me that they were voted best CT dealership last year. They are a class act. More

I have been to every Ford dealer from New Haven to Litchfield, to Hartford, to Saybrook,and then to Madison. After meeting with James Filley I stopped looking and started talking. As this is not the first new truck I have purchased I was suprised at the LACK of salesman crap from James. He was the most "no pressure" car salesman I have ever delt with. James and I sat down and created "my" truck. James kept me updated and in the loop. When the BIG DAY came James was just as excited as I was , he also explained ALL the new stuff on the truck. I would strongly recomend that,if you are in the market for a vehicle that you get to Madison and talk to James Filley. One other thing is Guy French has a knack of saving you some cash also. This is why i am giving this stellar rating to Hammonasset Ford. First off this review is so over due I have to apologize. I cannot say enough great things about Hammonasset Ford, they hav Hammonasset Ford. First off this review is so over due I have to apologize. I cannot say enough great things about Hammonasset Ford, they have been the BEST dealer i have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. First with the sale and then with repairs which ended up being a flaw in the engine from when it was built. From the sales department to the service department i have not seen or dealt with better. I purchased my Nissan from this dealer for what i had heard about them even though i lived an hour away. When it came, that inevitable time that something was wrong with the car. Because of the distance I went to 2 local dealers to which almost 2 weeks of my time was completely wasted, they just kept passing the ball to so many people it made me dizzy and so very angry. NO ONE called me to get any other information. I had to call them daily and sometimes they told me my car was not there, it just sat on their lot. The truth from one person was they didn't know why it was there.....communication is great right?? I was in tears. So I decided to call the folks at Hammonasset Ford where i purchased it, called the service department told them what had been happening, after Sal listened to me he simply said we will pick up the car for you bring it here and keep you posted on what we find. They made me feel like i mattered and they took ALL my worries away. And they did it that same day. I wish i had better words to express my deepest and sincerest gratitude on how they took care of just not my car but caring about the person. Passing on information if Sal was not available to ask for 2 other people and assured me that they where all on board any of them would be able to answer any of my questions, and they where. Until this purchase and experience I had dealt with at least a dozen dealers in my lifetime and service departments and always had a feeling that it felt shady, the salesmen acted shady and just plain walked out of so many dealerships, especially if you are a woman as i am, they see us coming and on comes the act....this is my opinion and how i was made to feel by other dealers. Hammonasset Ford amazed me at their sincere, friendly no pressure attitudes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. More
