Hyundai is dishonest. Hyundai plays a game with you to get you in the service garage by sending you a recall notice. Once they get you in they come up with a list of other repairs that should be done and then tell you they don’t have the part for the recall. The individuals you deal with are paid commission on how much they can get you to spend for service that you most likely don’t even need. Examples include the following: I just waited over an hour at Hampton Hyundai (11/14/2022) for an appointment, that I have had scheduled for over a month, to have a recall item fixed on my 2014 Tucson. After waiting over an hour, I was informed that they didn’t have the part in stock! Why didn’t they tell me that right away instead of wasting my time. The answer is they did their usual upsell routine where they “inspected” my vehicle and had a handful of other items they wanted me to pay for. They did the same upsell thing to me at Allen Turner Hyundai telling me I needed an alignment and back breaks. That was six months ago. Needless to say, I didn’t need the repairs. What a dishonest business. Don’t ever buy a Hyundai. More

I was very disappointed with Hampton Hyundai today when I arrived for an appointment to have a recall completed in which my appointment was made in December. The recall required a kit to repair a problem with the ABS and fuse kit and was informed that they did not have the part available to complete the job. I called yesterday (March 1, 2021) to confirm my appointment and never told that they did not have the part. I made a special trip to this dealership to get this recall completed, and as I said, was very disappointed I could not get this recall completed. There is obviously an issue within the Service Department and the Parts Department. Hopefully this review will prevent other customers to experience this frustration. More
