When nothing was wrong with my vehicle, I took it for an oil change. I got recommended service that there was a leak on the driver’s side axle boot. Prior to oil change, no leak on my driveway. After the oil change service, all of a sudden grease leaked on my driveway and open door light appeared on the panel when all doors are locked. I took it back for service and only the boot was replaced and greased and got charge over $1000. Then to find out about the open door light, Daniel said it is more likely electrical and if the dismantle the car parts to check the wiring, it can cost me up to $15,000. What a ripped off. I told Daniel, don’t do it but I still got charged $500 and open door light was still on. Never again will I bring my car for service at Hanlees Fairfield. I will make a report to Bureau of Automotive repair and Dept of Consumer Affairs. This service abuse needs to stop. Mercedes Benz when giving service, provides a video of what they do so you can be rest assured that no foul play is being done in your car. I will also meet with the Toyota Dept Manager to discuss this issue. A friend of mine had an oil change service and told me that they did not put back the cap and oil overflowed all over after seeing on his driveway vast oil leak. Toyota has great cars but your service department sucks.
