Add-ons were ridiculous as was the finance manager! To be clear, our salesman was FANTASTIC and I do think we received a fair price. The issues are a little deeper. After negotiating a cash price for the car, a new charge was added to the quote. A $400 cell phone app that we specifically stated we didnt want. On top of that a ludicrous "doc fee". Again these were added after the price was settled on. These items were deemed non-negotiable. Had my daughter not already fallen in love with the car, I would have walked. Things went downhill when we met with the finance manager. It was obvious when we first met that he was either mad about something or was the most arrogant man in Raleigh. I had seen him earlier in the evening because he actually "strutted" around the dealership. I didnt realize this was still a thing. Anyway, when paying for the car I paid with cash. The FM acted like I had spit on him and actually rolled his eyes at me. He claimed they dont take cash in that amount because of all the extra paperwork. The paperwork was a single IRS document with 3 blanks requiring info. He then called the salesman into the office to berate him in front of us about having a customer paying with cash!! Who does this??!! Altogether, my experience was not one that will be repeated. Hanna Imports needs to consider a different training method for their managers and think twice about their fees and add-ons. More
