False advertising. On the website and CARFAX, for their 2024 Chevrolet Silverado LT was listed at $42,998. I called and came in to visit the beautiful truck. Was gr On the website and CARFAX, for their 2024 Chevrolet Silverado LT was listed at $42,998. I called and came in to visit the beautiful truck. Was greeted and escorted by salesman Chris. Great guy, honest, kind. Went into the office and was pressured into taking it then and there. I wasn’t ready and walked out. Came back the very next day and was met with Laura, saleswoman. Sweet, witty, kind. After two visits and two test drives, I was ready to commit. Laura and her manager attempted to sneak in an optional care package when going over the numbers. I caught it and said I don’t want or need it. So she went back to her manager and brought him back. Trouble. Earlier, he had insulted Chris who left early that day and wasn’t able to meet with me. Thinking he’s joking but not funny and coming off wrong. Was the typical rude dealership manager throughout the entire experience. He said the “OPTIONAL” care package was mandatory. We asked to see proof and talk to his boss. ‘Surprisingly’, his boss was not in. He continued to blame others and push for the sale. I had enough and walked out. They lied about the listed price online and would not let go of the optional package. I will be now visiting and buying at a different Chevy dealership. The bait and switch tactic is old and I did not want to deal with it. Mind you, the “mandatory option” was $5,000. Do not be fooled with Harbor Chevrolet’s listed prices. They lost a $40,000 sale for $5,000. Typical. They will welcome you in and gladly screw you with a smile and pat on the back. Sorry Laura and Chris, that manager lost you the And no, I don’t want the “Business owner” to message me. I will not be purchasing from Harbor Chevrolet. If you don’t know this is happening, fix it. If you do, you’re worse the slimy usual car salesman. More
