There's a kind of "professionalism -meets- relaxed environment" here that turns car buying, something with a longstanding reputation for stress, into what it should always be: a great, fun, memorable experience. Every interaction we've had with Harbor over the last two years has been exceptional. So when it was time to get another new car, there was no other option for us than to do it here. Mike Casalegno, our contact from two years ago, worked and found us exactly what we wanted and got it into the dealer - a Lakeside Blue Sonata Limited 2.0T. Like before, we settled on a handshake (aka phone / email) deal before we even needed to be there. Jose Rodriguez would be working with us when we were scheduled to come in (on what turned out to be a very busy Tuesday night - good for them, but no surprise!) He took us on our test drive. And yes, we wanted this car! Jose walked us through the process, and kept us engaged while we waited to do the purchase paperwork. (Two sales were closing ahead of us - see last paragraph!) He really got to know us, and we got to know him. Can't say this enough: They're really thoughtful about making this a sincere, positive experience. And Jose is genuine, and someone we'd work with again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Jose! And again thanks to Mike, as well as to Juan & Bill for keeping things connected and working with our schedule, and to "both Davids" on doing the transaction between two days. True story. Amazing in a clutch I needed to have a recall item fixed and my wheel locks replaced so I could ship my car. I called 3 Hyundai's and this one was the only one who could take me. They were so nice and took me within 30 min of me calling. Marissa took great care of me and had all the work done plus an oil change, a free inspection and washed my car. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. One of the employees even helped me figure out the coffee make. Best experience I've had. More

However, Jay was very helpful when it came down to the bottom line and working with me and the price I was willing to pay. I went in with an fairly good idea of what I was going to pay for what I wanted and was willing to walk away if I didn't get it and Jay was very helpful when it came to working with the numbers and my trade-in and getting my payments to where I felt comfortable. In the end, they are not like other dealerships where they try to hassle you into all that extra stuff at the end and you payments balloon. Although they will give you the spiel about all of that, I felt none of the pressure to have to get it. Overall, as good of an experience as you can get buying a car. More

3 months service I went in to get my first oil change service since I purchased a 2019 Kona from Harbor Hyundai. They did not install the oil filter right and my gara I went in to get my first oil change service since I purchased a 2019 Kona from Harbor Hyundai. They did not install the oil filter right and my garage floor is now all messy with engine oil leaked over night. I mean, how hard is oil change? It's the very basic of vehicle maintenance and the fact that they screwed it up makes me wonder how overall quality of their service is like. Customer service was good but, I didn't drive all the way from Lake Elsinore to Long Beach to get their customer service. Very disappointing. More
