In the last two decades, I have purchased several new vehicles. Have dealt with various car dealerships and salesmen and experienced each transaction that has good and bad stories to tell. When you walk into car dealerships, you notice right away how you get treated. First impression counts, you can clearly tell if a salesman is pushy or understands what you are there for. The negotiation process with salesman to sales manager and back is where your money meets the road. If you do not understand their sale tactics, you will not be happy with your purchase after you realized how much bread you spent including additional maintenance services/warranty or whatever is tacked in the total price. Though you will appreciate if the salesman thoroughly explained these to you before hand. Then after you sign the dotted lines, you are on your own with new keys and bunch of reading materials (operating manuals). And off you go while dealers start enjoying the commission they garnished from you. With Harbor Hyundai, they changed my view and experience with purchasing a new vehicle. From the time you walked in their lot with pleasant greetings and zero salesman hassle, the test drive, negotiation process, the thorough indoctrination of vehicle electronics features and operation plus the after purchase follow up. Mr. Ken Bundy did all that. He is a superb salesman. A straight to the point person, appeared very honest, knowledgeable of the product and friendly. To Harbor Hyundai Leadership, I highly recommend Ken as salesman of the month or year. This dealership fully stands with their advertisement. Prior to coming to this car lot, I have checked several Hyundai dealership websites within 200 miles radius; Harbor Hyundai has the best price. Another dealership with similar internet sale price in Torrance CA (South Bay Hyundai) which I went to test drive an exact car with same options. Salesman does not even know their advertised price. Showed him their website thru my iPhone and still no clue, he even took my iPhone and showed it to his sales manager (on duty that Saturday afternoon) and I watched them checked their computer from a glass partition. And yet they denied the sale price and blamed it on their internet sales manager. Worst thing they did was passing me to another salesman who said current Hyundai incentives (September 2015) is NOT applicable. I read the HyundaiUSA site's full statement in front of him and still a no go. I just smiled and left their car lot. They are full of unprofessional sales staff. They just lost a customer and his friends and relatives forever. WHY DON'T THEY BE LIKE HARBOR HYUNDAI OF LONG BEACH STAFF!!! More
