Sales person Ken Bundy did an excellent job of explaining about the operating of the vehicle and answering all our questions. He was knowledgeable and showed us how the many operating systems work. When I first called the dealership I spoke with Ken, and he was very nice and helpful on the phone. When we got to the dealership Ken was working with another family with a vehicle purchase so he asked Pau he was very nice and helpful on the phone. Doug made car-buying a pain-free experience. He was straight to the point and very down-to-earth. Aside from Hyundai's price being lower, it was Doug's straight-forward approach with me that confirmed I was going straight back to him to buy my car because I didn't want to deal with hassle from any other dealers at that point. During our two day Recon of several other Hyundai dealers within a 35 mile radius, the wife was ready to kill me until we met Mike Casalegno @ Harbor Hyundai. But after meeting several unscrupulous salesman at other dealers. My lovely wife had HAD ENOUGH. (Really? telling me the other sales person I was scheduled to meet as not here today). Seriously some of these other dealers should be investigated by Hydunia or out of business. Then we met Mike @ Harbor Hyundai, intentionally saved the best for last. Did I mention I did my research? Well, Mike won the Wife over(a real hard sale at this point) and restored our confidence in car sales personnel with his personality, honesty and 'how we felt while dealing with him'… Comfortable. He never tried any misleading tactics and we had heard some good ones. I had already sat down with three other dealers who had the Sonata Limited w/options, but we were undecided on the color & leaving on a 3 week Vacation so I did not want to garage a new car but wanted the rebates. Mr. NO Pressure Mike said “Take your time, have a great vacation. If your still in the market for a new car when you get back give me a call and we’ll find the right one for you.” NOT "these are selling fast, stock is limited and we won't have any when you return" Two days after returning from Vacation, We called Mike. He pulled a shrink-wrapped Sonata Limited out of his hat, had it prepped and full of gas by the time the paperwork was done. Explained every feature on the car, pre-set NAV & electronics, etc..(ya I know that's his job) but never made us feel hurried, even though it was way after his quiting time. He never mentioned it, but I knew his hours before I came over. I Hope his kids forgave him for being late. Everyone @ Harbor Hyundai was friendly throughout the experience, Mike has even followed-up several times to see if I've had any issues or questions. I highly recommend Harbor Hyundai. From prior experiences of purchasing cars I have to say that harbor hyundai has by far the best customer service. I have purchased from Honda, Acura,VW, and Mitsubishi, and Hyundai was by far the most cour that harbor hyundai has by far the best customer service. I have purchased from Honda, Acura,VW, and Mitsubishi, and Hyundai was by far the most courteous from greeting us at the beginning, negotiating a price to offering a snack/ soft drink, to walking us over all the details of the vehicle. Mr Diego Bonilla helped us from letting us know what hyundai had great incentives to which car had the best mpg for its class.
