Dewey, I investigated this concern to see what happened. Since it was purchased last September, an additional 22,000 miles have been put on the Camaro. Unfortunately, the clutch is not covered under warranty because it is a wear and tear item and therefore cannot be covered since the owner could potentially destroy it with their driving habits. I talked to David Rains about this and he informed me that the $1900 quote is from Hubler so we aren't sure what numbers they are using to get to that price. We are sorry that the warranty does not cover it, but we are more than happy to help you if you would like to bring the vehicle to our service department where we can give you a discount. Good Morning Mr. Horack, The quote of $1900 was actually given to me yesterday when I was on the phone with Mr. Rains. I took the Camark by Hubler as that was the closest dealership to my place of employment and was quoted $1850. Mr. Raims quoted me at $1886 and that no help or discounts ere available. Dewey

I do apologize for your frustrations. I do want to point out that we have tried to make things right even though the recalls that were performed have no direct relation to the troubles you are having. We did not charge you the $112.50 diagnosis fee for the check engine light, and we did replace head light bulbs at no charge to your vehicle when they needed replaced. Our GM factory trained technicians are all very knowledgeable at their field of expertise, but when they are put on the spot about issues on a car, they don't like to give direct responses because we like to give our customers educated and accurate answers with some research to their concern. Your vehicle has over 120 thousand miles on it and we have recommended several items that needed your attention to keep the vehicle well maintained. With the mileage being so high, there are going to be wear and tear items that will need your attention.

You did not address the facts regarding my multiple visits in July 2015, including all of the things that were working when I arrived, and not working after a technician "looked" at them. This is much different than a routine maintenance issue.

At the first visit your concerns was that your car needs to be jumped and we found that due to your radio staying on continuously that is what is causing your battery to drain. Per your authorization we removed the fuse in order to stop the radio of staying on and draining your battery. That fuse that we remove, per your request, also controls the tire pressure indicator. When you came back in saying the light was on, we again, per your request, reinstalled the fuse so the tire pressure system would be active again. When we reinstalled the fuse, it then caused your radio to stay on and continue to drain your battery. As a result of disabling and enabling the said circuit the radio continued to exhibit further issues. We have made multiple recommendations, but you have declined. When you came back in saying your low beam lights were not working, we decided to replace the low beam bulbs, at no charge to you, even though it is not on the GM inspection. With there being excessive moisture in your lenses, this will only be a temporary fix as the headlight assembly will need to be replaced. We thought everything was just fine, it had been 11 days and we have not heard from you. Then you come back in and have already put 500 miles on your vehicle and you then state your A/C is not working. Our factory trained technicians explained to you that because of your A/C blower is not working due to the melted connector and resistor, which is unrelated to any of the issues you have previously came in for. We recommended an A/C blower motor, connector, and resistor and you declined. At this point, we feel that we have addressed all of your concerns you have had since your first visit with us on July 6. Anything that we have done to your vehicle, diagnose and replace bulbs, we have not charged you for. Anything that we have recommended for your vehicle, including an oil change, you have declined.

For whomever is writing these responses your version of the facts is extremely distorted; or you have been provided with erroneous information. The facts do not change no matter how you attempt to spin them. I told the technician, who promised to give me a call but did not, that I had to travel. I re-visted your service department because I never received the promised call to schedule my appointment, and, the call that I made to the service department while I traveled, was never returned. I had spent 8 hours in the service department on my first visit. My concern was not new things that occurred because in your view the vehicle had 120000 miles, my concern is regarding items that were working when the vehicle was brought to the service department but not working after the technician "tinkered" with it. The technician even admitted that one mishap with the radio happened because of what the technicians did while inspecting the radio. And the technician still did not have the knowledge to correct the tire pressure sensor light, without re-establishing the previous issue that the technicians thought were fixed. I gave the service department every opportunity to do what was right but it appears that this was never the intent. As I continue to meet people that have had problems with their vehicles and concerns about their treatment and concerns regarding technician skill levels, the Hare Chevrolet name keeps popping up. I was at a gas station the other day and a group of men were having a discussion that involved a Chevrolet vehicle taken to Hare Chevrolet, I knew none of these people. They were very upset. Shame.

I am very sorry to hear that you are still unhappy. Unfortunately I (Kristina) am just the middle man and have been talking with the technicians and the service advisor about the issues. I was not there so it is all he said/he said. Instead of going back and forth as to what happened, what exactly are you looking for? I want to try and make things right with you but I am just not sure what to do. I did see where we have given you quotes on what needs to be repaired, I am willing to give you 10% off on any of the repair recommendations that have been noted on your account.
