Yesterday I had to take a journey I was dreading...yes, the car dealership! This was an unexpected plan as my old car gave out on me. I went to Hare Chevrolet on a scheduled appointment. I was handed over to a very nice person,Dena Dawson. I felt Dena knew what I was going through as I was stressed out and my stomach was in knots! I didnt know what to expect and I just wanted get it over with. I was given options I wasnt expecting. I got the car I wanted, the finances worked out and it was such a relief not to have felt pressured. Thanks to Dena's understanding, kindness and patience, her efforts in helping me meant alot. I can honestly say,when I am ready for another vehicle, I would return to Hare Chevrolet. I DEFINATELY would recommend Hare Chevrolet to anyone in need of a car. Dena Dawson made it worthwhile. I don't know if she was more nervous than I was but I am greatful! Thanks Dena! You're awesome! More

Horrible experience so far, I bought my car 4 months ago and haven't had a good experience yet. During the purchase of my new vehicle I was rushed to make a decision and pressured into filling out a survey and haven't had a good experience yet. During the purchase of my new vehicle I was rushed to make a decision and pressured into filling out a survey for GM as "exceeds expectations" before I ever signed any paperwork. My salesmen stated he needed me to rate his service and the dealers service as "extremely satisfied" for him to receive his commission. The finance manager was very sleezy and tried to distract me with pointless side conversation so that I would not realize what I was signing, his goal was to get me to purchase additional warranties and protection plans without realizing that I was doing it. When I asked questions about something he became angry and very rude. The service department is a joke, I took my car in too have 6 things completed. I had a scheduled appointment, confirmed what services would be done when I arrived, the after waiting 3 hours I was told my car was ready. Upon checking out I realized that only my tires had been rotated, nothing else was completed! When I brought this to the attention of the lady in the service department she said she didn't check me in so she wasn't going to deal with it, as it "wasn't her problem." Finally after waiting another 10 minutes another service specialist came and helped me. He checked the paperwork and recognized that they had indeed made the mistakes of not completing the other services, so he went to get the sevice manager, who told him to just take my car back and have a tech finish the work, I had already wasted 3 hours of my day so I told him that I would have to call and set up another appointment. I asked to speak to the services manager about what had happen, when the specialist went to get him , he refused to come out and speak to me. I could see him in plain view behind a half wall where the service department is. I never got an apology and left with a horrible taste in my mouth about Hare. The only thing good thing about my experience so far is the free coffee and the teenage girl gave me some pop corn was nice and very polite. I'm just really disappointed, I spent $38,900 on a car there and I have not had anytime customer service. I had high hopes, but so far I would not recommend anyone to go there, and the more people I ask, I quickly realize that I'm not alone with thi kind of experience. There are a lot of other Chevy dealers in the area who are happy to provide you service. More

I first contacted Christie Owen via the "Live Chat" feature on the website about a car I had seen online. She was able to answer many of my questions about the car and arranged for Brian Eybel t Chat" feature on the website about a car I had seen online. She was able to answer many of my questions about the car and arranged for Brian Eybel to call me that day (Saturday) to answer others. I scheduled an appointment with Brian the next Monday to see and drive the car. After the test drive we came inside to Brian's desk to discuss terms. I had some specific requests and Brian went to work for me to meet those terms. I next spent time with Michael Higgins to discuss financing options. As this car was older than 5 years I was unable to arrange my own financing through my bank. Michael was able to reach out to several banks and credit unions to find me the best possible loan on this car. He did an excellent job explaining all of the terms and options to me and the deal was made. I had driven myself to the showroom that day so Brian arranged for the car to be cleaned, filled with gas, and stored inside that night until I could pick it up the next day. This was an excellent car buying experience and I would highly recommend Brian and Hare Chevrolet for all new and used car purchases. More

The call was handled in a professional manner and my inquiry about a Candillac CTS was attended to promptly and satisfactorily Christie. I set an appointment to view the car the following day and my whole experience when I arrived at the showroom on 2001 Stoney Creek Rd was fantastic. I was met by Doug Edmundson who received me with courtesy and professionalism. He made me feel like I was the only customer in the showroom. The Candillac CTS was as described in the Auto trader and the test drive was smooth. The whole process of purchasing the car was handled efficiently and in a friendly atmosphere. Many thanks to the finance manager who was very helpful and patient and made it possible for me to secure the vehicle. More

Reneau was fantastic. He went out of his way to help us find a car that was in our price range. He could have very easily said that there wasn't anything in our price range and moved on to a bigger sale, b find a car that was in our price range. We have been more than happy with both of our experiences at Hare! Moose was very easy to deal with and gave us more than a fair price for our trade in. Everyone I have encountered at Hare has surpassed my expectations. I train customer service skills for a living, have for years and I typically "test" people when I start to question that I'm an importa expectations. I never questioned I was important and found out that I'm more important than I even knew. When cookies arrived, I couldn't believe it! I went to Hare because I've heard the radio commercials for years... the sisters make a difference! I've gone through some challenging years and thought I'd see what Hare could do to help me get a car. The radio ads said you are a dealer for the people and will try harder - I believe it! The reason the price received a 4 rating is because it went out of the monthly price range I preferred. There seemed to be a bump with a finanical person who ended up leaving Hare - I guess he didn't figure things exactly right at first and we thought we would be within the monthly range I wanted. In the end, it is manageable. Hare isn't close to where I live - there are MANY dealers between my home and Hare. I'm so thrilled with feeling that you care that I will always drive to Hare for my car needs. Watch out... my son will be interested in buying a car soon! I'll send him your way. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Hare Chevrolet. I had never purchased a car on my own and wasn't entirely certain that I would be approved. David made me feel very comfortable.
