I am a special finance case. I purchased a vehicle through the buy here pay here program. I had contacted Todd Kirkpatrick about 3 weeks prior to my purchase. He worked very hard over those 3 weeks through the buy here pay here program. I had contacted Todd Kirkpatrick about 3 weeks prior to my purchase. He worked very hard over those 3 weeks to try and get me the best deal possible and find a vehicle that best fit my needs. Once we had put together the right car and payment for me, Todd was extremely kind and courteous and I was in and out of the dealership about an hour with financing completed and a nice clean and fueled car. My husband and I walked into this dealership looking to purchase a reliable family car because mine had recently stopped running. As we pulled up the salesman were of course,standing very near the customer purchase a reliable family car because mine had recently stopped running. As we pulled up the salesman were of course,standing very near the customer parking and we were greeted almost before we were out of the car by a salesman. We had budgeted about $20,000 cash for our new car. Before we were even allowed to look at cars the salesman insisted we fill out a credit app. We were open to financing a vehicle to build some auto crdit although we never have before. During the credit app,before even running our credit, Lucas stated that my husband would be considered self-employed as a 1099 employee and even though his income is well over $7000 a month would not qualify for financing. He tried to pressure us into adding a co-signer. When we refused he said we would have to use in-house financing and there would only be certain vehicles available. Without running our credit I feel as if he had no way to know this. At this point we began to feel as if he was treating us as a waste of his time. He took us to a golf cart and made one trip around the lot pointing out the cars that qualified. All were older models with high miles. With no encouragement from us he seemed to fixate on a particular car that was nowhere near what we were interested and I was honestly insulted to even be offered it. At one point he left us sitting on a golf cart to go find the keys for this car even though I felt I'd made it clear I was not interested in this car. After being left alone for about 15 minutes we decided to leave. As we were walking out Lucas caught up to us and said the car had been sold but offered us the same car in another color! Needless to say we left without making a purchase and I was near to tears. We have called to see if he would realize his error and remedy it with a good deal but he still continues to offer sub-par cars at unreasonable prices. We will be purchasing from another dealer who ran our credit and discovered we qualified for an excellent loan. I don't think I have ever been treated this rudely and it certainly made me feel as if I was second class in Hare Chevy's eyes. More

So I called Hare Chevrolet first before looking and wasting my time elsewhere.On our previous purchase we had a class act salesman,Vince Gainey, who worked extremley hard to find a good,used SUV for my daughter and her family.It had been a little over a year since our last purchase and I was hoping Vince was still around to help with my next purchase.My son loved his 2006 cobalt and was pretty distraught to say the least when the accident occured.My son was hoping to find another used cobalt similar to what he had.After explaining our situation to Vince we set up a time to begin our search.What Vince found for my son was completely unexpected and his dream car come true.A totally awesome 2006 Chevy Cobalt Supercharged SS with very low miles,that looked like it had just came off the showroom floor and the price was unbelievable!!! It was truly to great a deal to pass up, so we took a drive(very impressive) and purchased the car.My son had the car for six days when the clutch and all the other components associated with the cluth went out.We had purchased a 3 year,45,000 mile additional warranty and in the fine print guess what it said,DOES NOT COVER CLUTH OR RELATED PARTS.After having the car towed back to Hare,the service department tore into it and diagnosed the problem as the clutch with a $1,900 qoute for repair.After discussing our situation with Vince Gainey he went to his superiors and eventually to the owners of Hare and they assessed the problem and decided to repair the car at no cost to us and they even gave him a loaner car for the duration of the repair time.Have you ever heard of such a thing? I was over joyed,happy and so releived I almost cried.The owners of Hare truly care about their customers and their needs.I highly reccomend Hare Chevrolet for your next purchase.You will be amazed at what service and value you will recieve.When you do go to Hare for your next vehicle,ask for Vince Gainey.He will make sure you are treated with honesty,respect and he will satisfy your wants and needs in making sure you are happy when you leave with your new or used car.I always start my search at Hare Chevrolet and I've been right on our last six vehicles.Many,many thanks to Vince Gainey and all the other super people that make Hare Chevrolet a truly great car dealership.I WILL BE BACK!!!
