Very bad experience. Salesman never showed me the vehicles i wanted to see, only the one he wanted to force me to buy. He was rude and very aloof. He never spent more than a few minutes with my wife vehicles i wanted to see, only the one he wanted to force me to buy. He was rude and very aloof. He never spent more than a few minutes with my wife and I. He spent most of his time running around talking on the phone or with other salesmen. We had an agreed upon down payment and trade in value until after the test drive. Then i was told that $1200 worth of service work had been done to the car I was being forced into and that the Service Department wanted to be paid for the work, therefore my down payment would increase by $1000. I will never recommend Hare Chevrolet to anyone and advise them to avoid any dealings with them. More

I was looking for a new Traverse to replace my Tahoe and visited Hare Chevrolet. I initially planned on purchasing the Traverse from another Chevrolet dealership in Indianapolis. Wayne Gainey was my salesperson and an absolute pleasure to work with. I really wasn't looking to buy a car, I was looking for information on the Chevy Cruze Eco. From the time we walked into the dealership I could feel the friendly atmosphere. We were 45 minutes late for our appointment because of getting lost and so we didn't really have an agent, but Wayne stepped right up and very graciously offered to help us. We didn't have to wait at all. He was very friendly and delightful and a real pleasure to work with. We received absolute great customer service from Wayne.Wayne always had a smile and that meant a lot to us. That's the kind of customer service that makes the day and makes customers want to return. When we walked into Hare,we had no idea the great customer care we would receive.The third car I test drove was the one I couldn't live without. My husband and I have 3 small children and everytime we came and brought them Rufus was so extra nice to them,gave them candy...water...let them dig threw his extra bag of candy to find that orange sucker that wasn't in the candy jar,but was our daughters favorite.:)We never felt pressured at all.We were able to say what we could afford and then go from there.We would definetly come back to Hare when we are ready to trade and find something else again one day,but untill then all are family and friends were already told how much we enjoyed it at Hare and enjoyed working with Rufus !!!
