When I turned 16 in 1970 my father helped me purchase my "first" car...a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Coupe. Since that time I have looked for that car and from time to time I look on Ebay to see if it's listed. On the 1st of February, I typed in 1948 Chevy in the New Car column on Ebay Motors and up popped this beautiful Black Z71 Crew Cab Silverado...why I'm not sure? I had been looking for one in the Augusta, Ga. vicinity and online in the Atlanta area,but to no avail. This had to be fate!!! I inquired via the internet and Mike Tallman picked up the phone and gave me a call. All of the other dealers had given me the same line.... $3,000 off list. Mike told me he was going to earn my business long distance and started laundry listing Hare's incentives and then to top it off, asked if I owned Pontiac...something the other dealers had never mentioned! As loyal GM supporters we happen to own a 1968 Firebird Convertible and that earned us an addtional discount. We agreed on the final price, a charge for shipping it to Georgia, and it was delivered on Thursday evening. The truck received a bath in our driveway today and is currently tucked neatly in our garage. I grew up in the Noblesville area until I was 13 when my father who worked for Eli Lilly and Company was transferred to Atlanta, Ga in 1967. But, I remember as a child driving past Hare Chevrolet when my mother would take us to the our Dentist, Dr. Guinn, in Noblesville. Who knew one day I would be buying my "first" pickup truck from my hometown? Thank you, Mike, for showing me some "Northern Hospitality". Darrel is the best Salesmen ever we bought our first Chevy on 12/11/2009 a Chevy Malibu LTZ 2010. Darrel was awesome overly friendly and not pushy. We like him and the dealership so much that we ended up going back to him on 2/25/2010 to buy another vehicle do to a car accident my truck was totaled out back in december of 2009. I was getting released to drive from the doctors the next day to drive and had no way to come and get the vehicle so Darrel offered to deliver it to my house for me. We bought a Chevy Tahoe 2010. Wayne was very friendly and enthusiastic. I rated customer service as "good", not "excellent" because although he did resolve a couple issues, there was room for improvement: He hadn't checked his em customer service as "good", not "excellent" because although he did resolve a couple issues, there was room for improvement: He hadn't checked his email all day and I had to call him to get a timely response (even though he had indicated emailing him was fine). I originally exchanged email with Judy and she failed to address all my questions, requiring me to call her again. Also, the initial information sent to me via email concerning the vehicle was not detailed enough. I rated Quality of Work as "good" and not "excellent" because some of the instructions I had left were not followed. Although they did not cause significant issues, it still left room for improvement. I also rated Price as "good", not "excellent" because I could have easily gotten the same deal at other dealerships. The Overal Experience was "good", not "excellent" because of the room for improvement in the other specific areas. More

I had an amazing experience at Hare Chevrolet. I went in there not thinking I was going to purchase a car that day but after talking to the sales man named Jeff he really showed me some great deals. Jeff walked through all different types of payment plans and taught me about leasing a car. I ended up buying a new Malibu. He got me such a great deal and I got more money then i ever thought for my used beat up truck for a trade in. I told my friends and family about how Jeff hooked me up with this deal. It was nice to actually go to a dealership and have one of the salesmen be nice, comfortable, and overall not the typical "salesmen" that we think about at a car dealership.
